I think I will put a simple fuse to protect from overcurrent.

Any idea of well working balancing boards :?: :!:

Low current BMS.

Hi,

I'm looking for a rather low current BMS.

The pack is made of 10S1P Samsung INR21700 50E, so about 5Ahr.

Any ideas as most of the BMS have too large max current for my pack :?: :!:

Have a Nice Day.

Re: Cute Q100CST Smaller 42mm Flange Ver Open wt Vice Disc Rotor

Good morning,

Do you know how to remove the freewheel now :?:

I've just bought a new bike with this motor hub, so if one day I need servicing the bearings, it would be great to know how

Have you counted the teeth of the planetary wheels :?: :!:

Have a Nice Day.

Inspired Energy NI2040 strange behaviour.

Hi, I've an Inspired Energy NI2040 10V8 spare battery that has a strange behaviour. After several month of storage, it was indicating 0% in my Tektro scope, note that the older original battery from Tektro is still OK. I've charged it fully (it accepted the charge without any troubles) and the disch...

Re: Cycle Life tests or experience with Panasonic NCR18650GA vs LG MJ1 vs Samsung INR18650-35E

Imho the cycle degradations main factor is the silicone in the anode, less the cathode material. All 3500mAh cells use Si-C anodes, whcihs significantly reduces cycle performance. (Afaik the newer 21700 high capacity cells do not use Si-C anodes, that's why their energy densiotiy is lower than the ...

Re: Cycle Life tests or experience with Panasonic NCR18650GA vs LG MJ1 vs Samsung INR18650-35E

Only Sanyo GA is holding its capacity above 70% even after 1000 cycles under 100% DoD. Any real data points to demonstrate those claims? Even GA official data fly in the face of those claims. Thanks! Yes I've seen the Panasonic datasheet, about 300 cycles @100% DOD. But Panasonic is often very cons...

Re: Cycle Life tests or experience with Panasonic NCR18650GA vs LG MJ1 vs Samsung INR18650-35E

I plan on setting up a life cycle test on some cells shortly. But the list of cells to test is long and I need more power supplies and Arduino boards. Plus it can take a month to get good data... That's normal. I've tested some LiPo cells (just to know the leakage current), and all the Kokam are ve...

Cycle Life tests or experience with Panasonic NCR18650GA vs LG MJ1 vs Samsung INR18650-35E

Hi,

Anyone who has done cycle Life Tests of 3500mAH batteries, Panasonic/Sanyo NCR18650GA vs LG MJ1 vs Samsung INR18650-35E for example.

I plan to do a pack, but prefer to use long lasting ones if differences are really important.

Have a Nice Day.

Re: Lifepo4 fully discharged... can it be revived?

I have revived a few 100 LIFEPO4 cells. Measure them at millivolt to get more accurate info. In my opionion cells that are less then 0,5V are not worth reviving, But cells above 1V can often have 70-90% of its original capacity! USE them NIMH setting on the charger and charge up to 2V then switch t...

Re: How to easily make A123 ANR26650 packs

Yes, good holders. If you live in US, that's a good source for good material. They sell cells with spot welded tabs. So you'll have all you need there. If you live in Europe, Akkuteile is a good shop. Use a 80W good quality soldering iron like Weller or so, and trim the tabs (little overlap) before ...

Re: Specs Performance for 80-100 motor ?

My reducer is already strong enough for 80mm motor, but I'm planning on a couple changes to make it better. At this point the ratio is 19:1. I machined it all excluding bearings and pins. I built other one that is 16:1. You can visit my thread for details. Yes, my reducer is based on the same princ...

Re: How to easily make A123 ANR26650 packs

You can buy batteries with "spot welded tags" (only 0.5$ more), and battery cells brackets.

That way you can solder them with a normal soldering iron.
