Thats really good! I'd love to see the internal design. Have you used a large thread from the mast mount to casing?Hiorth wrote:Parts was about 300$, which is quite inexpencive for a one-off. Nope, no glue at all this time. Only screws:) to ease maintenance.

I have the Yep 120A. I haven't used it in the water yet, but it should be fine with sufficient cooling.superlefax wrote:Has anybody experience with this ESC:

I'm still not sure which hydrofoil I should buy @Alibaba. Should I go for the SUP Foil (1) or the Kite Foil (4) ? I ordered the n°4, because it's the NF2 Wakefoil of Slingshot, so you can find a lot of videos with it, and I ordered differents sizes of mast to test the foil at the wakepark. I think ...

The Slingshot hoverglide mast and fuselage are a very good price. I have the mast and baseplate and will be getting the fuselage w hen its in stock But the Slingshot mart is not hollow, isn't it? Re: Electric Hydrofoil/E-Foil
About the mast, I think that an aluminium hollow mast with a plate is the easier choice for a reasonable price, even for a personal wing setup. Could you tell me if you founded good links for that part (and maybe with a fuselage). I founded only filled aluminium masts. The Slingshot hoverglide mast...

Going foiling (hopefully) tomorrow. We have never foiled before, so it will be interesting, but we have some experience with water sports, so I guess it will work out. Re: Electric Hydrofoil/E-Foil
Well done to all making great progress on this. Very impressive. (Winter project for me I hope) As an observer it seems to me the motor/prop creates a moment that isn't planned for in the foil design/position/angle. Especially during acceleration phase perhaps. As a result the weight of the rider s...
