MTB Tires Vs. Moto Tires

For my next build I will be using an enduro frame from Alibaba. It is similar to the stealth in some ways. Several other users have used this frame. It weighs about 100-120 Lbs. when fully assembled with battery, motor, and other accesories for the bike only. I was wondering if I should use 26X2.5, ...

Re: Hobby King and Lipo batteries

I bought about 10 each of the 6S and 4S 5200 mah Multi-stars. Two of the 4S packs each had a cell that was weak... usable, but enough that the LV alarm went off when the other three cells were around .25 or .35 V higher, if I remember correctly. I emailed them a couple of images.. One with a CBA te...

I think MXUS will be there. I was negotiating the price on their MXUS 3k turbo V3 and they recommended I go there to see their products. I only wish I had the time and money. Alibaba is so useful. $287 for 3T motor spoked into 19"x1.85" moto rim including shipping.

Re: Hobby King and Lipo batteries

I now have both batteries, but I am still waiting on the 400W duo graph charger I ordered from RCMoment.com. I dont want to wait ages, so I bought two 150W single chargers from hobbyking.com. Hobyking has very fast shipping from any of there warehouses. 3-10 days from the china warehouse. I ordered ...

Re: Hobby King and Lipo batteries

Nice to know dud cells are not a common issue. I hope my sweedish luck has not run out and I can avoid getting a dud, those batteries are expensive and take a while to get to the US. And I placed the orders separately for the two batteries.

Hobby King and Lipo batteries

So I have a few questions. I have ordered two 6s Lipo batteries for my ebike I built. I have heard that sometimes you can get dud cells. Does Hobby King replace those under warranty? Also, has anyone else noticed that their tracking service does not work right? One of the batteries arrived and the t...

Re: Lipo RC chargers

That appears to be a value charger with good features. The add implies that it will chart the charge volts and current etc, but i couldnt find any info. Does it plot/store data for each cell, and can that data be stored or dumped to Logview or similar PC software ? That appears to be a value charge...

Re: Lipo RC chargers

if you have the money the i charger 4010 is top notch i run mine with 3 server psu and it can charge anything i can throw at it Great charger, but WAY overkill for his needs. It's like having an AR-15 to shoot hummingbirds. But, I would suggest something in the iCharger brand. In my estimation, the...

Ykick wrote:How much distance between battery pack and controller?

TBH, I've never found need for 10ga wire.

12ga is what I run 40A service from a trailer using several feet of 12ga wire.
The length is from the controller on my downtube to my backpack.

My battery is 2 16Ah 6s turnigy multistar Lipo in series. My power level is 1500W 44.4v. The controller says 45A. it is an 18 mosfet trapezoid wave controller.

Line Load on power wires

Is line load going to be an issue with my new build? My battery has 10 AWG wire and my controller has 18 or 16 AWG wire. Will this be an issue? Should I replace the leads with all 10 AWG wire?

Time to go Lipo. I just ordered some HK turnigy multistar lipo batteries to replace my 18650 pack on my bike. With my 400w (20Ah) charger my 16ah batteries should be done and balanced within about an hour
