Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I have noticed that during colder days (seems to start at -18 celsius) the display (vlcd5) is showing jibberish, but the engine works fine. Anyone else noticed this? The display shows 1 battery bar and random errors (e02, e01, e08), sometimes changing errors back and forth, however you can still set...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Did anyone try to flash back to stock from the flexible firmware? I have a 36v motor and a 52v battery, and trying to get back to stock with the 52v-profiles from eyebsickle, left me with the controller thinking the battery is empty. So it wont run. But I used the same profiles before the flexible, ...

Has anyone tried that 100mm or 120mm adapter axle from futurebike in Italy. I’m interesting in building a fat cargo bike but it will need the longer version of the pedal axle.
I am running a 100mm kit on my fatbike (non-cargo). It was easy to install and works as expected! :)

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

so you see how difficult this is to judge from a recording...so what it comes down to basically is: you are convinced that this motor is not the way it should be and the company who sold it to you did not repair it correctly and therefore you warn people to buy from them. ok. Yes, absolutely, one s...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Frankly: from this clip I could not tell anything.. For me the motor could very well be absolutely perfect. I am just saying what I feel. My experience: I am having many situations where I hardly notice the motor, and then there are situations where I do (mostly under heavy load). I find this total...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

So after 2 full months I have finally gotten my motor back from repair with PSWPOWER. I had to pay for shipping to Germany, which is OK. The time taken however, is ridiculous. It was sent in because the noise was not helped by replacing the sprag clutch gear, nor the blue gear. The result after send...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hey again, I am back with the noisy TSDZ2, and a new video, showing me cranking the pedals without chain or anything attached. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toPRX2CrUmA As you hopefully can hear there is a loud rattling/metal-sound, and I assume that is the same problem that is causing this: https...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

So I posted a few pages back about having a high noise from my motor, and after checking the nylon gear's condition I was curious what else could cause the noise. This video is from the other side, where the little spur gear is, is the clearance shown here normal? Or is this the source of my noise p...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Ask Alice if she will let you pull it apart to check So I removed the cover and nylon gear to check, and to me (novice) it looks like there's not that much grease? See attached pictures. However, I cleaned it out and re-greased using general purpose lithium grease, and the noise is about the same, ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I'm no expert, but that does not sound like a frame vibration induced noise, but rather some rotational rubbing in the unit. I wouldn't ride anymore on it before opening it up. From what I understand it's easy to do but I would first contact the seller if possible. Good advice to contact the seller...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hey all, hope this is ok for the thread, considering the expertise in here.. :) I have just installed a brand new 36v/350w-tsdz2 and have a serious noise/hum coming from the motor. It sounds like a tortured mini-toycar if you ever heard them motors. Video for sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O...

Bafang with 750C colordisplay, clock/time lost constantly

Hi all, I am using a 750C display with my BBS02, and it's working great, except one thing.. The clock does not retain it's time while the battery is unplugged. Did they really design it like this, or am I having a defective unit? A small RTC/clock battery couldn't cost much.. :( The display I am tal...

Motor controller that fit inside Hailong-mount?

Hey, I've purchased this bike; http://whitebikes.com/bikes/17-velo-city-energy-flash-usx/ * And the motor controller is fitted inside the hailong-battery mount, see pictures below. * Does anyone know what controller this is, and it's specifics? * Are there other controllers made to fit inside this m...
