Re: Max Amp and Watts on 12 gages 4 feet

I don't go at 2200 watts very often :-)

I now feel confident that the change from 10 to 12 won't impact much my setup.

Thank you so much !

Max Amp and Watts on 12 gages 4 feet

I have two 52 Volts battery and 2 motors. if I used both motor at maximum capacity I consume about 2200 watts I was using 10 gages cabling but I had problem with my Anderson connector because the cable were too big to fit in the connector. I want to switch to 12 gage. I will have about 4-5 feet of c...

Re: Bafang eBrake problem and maybe Cycle Analyst

And with the OP mentioning running 5vdc to the switch... Well, I just wanted to make it clear that a 5vdc supply line for a Bafang magnetic brake switch is not required, as there is not a hall sensor there. I've seen it required for a KIngmeter cable pull brake sensor... so it is possible to be req...

Re: Bafang eBrake problem and maybe Cycle Analyst

If you are running both motors off the same battery, you could have issues if there is a lot of voltage drop in the negative battery wire between the two controllers. Make sure the two controllers battery negative wires are connected to each other with the shortest possible wire and use heavy wire....

Re: Bafang eBrake problem and maybe Cycle Analyst

A couple questions... Do you wish to have ether brake lever disable BOTH motors? And are you using hydraulic brakes? my trike has a left and right brake only (no rear). usually I don't break on one side only but I could happen in the best world, each brake would cut both motor but for now if each l...

Bafang eBrake problem and maybe Cycle Analyst

I have 2 motors on my bike A Bafang with it's own controller and an Ezee with a Cycle Analyst. My problem is related to eBike signal. On the Bafang. I have a lot of difficulty to find a position to place the magnet in a way that it will get further from the detector when I press the Brake lever. i t...

Hello teklektik my app is progressing even if I am a bad programmer :-) now I received data from cycle Analyst in a Arduino, send it through bluetooth, then I read the data stream and display it in big square on my iPhone. what I would like to add is to be able to ask the firmware version to Cycle a...

Re: Cycle Analyst with 2 shunt with new firmware

Here you go. This should be accurate, but field formats may vary a bit... ... I just update my firmware to CA3-13v1S with the solar beta I received 20 data. I read in the eBikes Blog that you removed the GPS data in v1S. great because I don't have a GPS yet :-) (oh I could be using iPhone data) I a...

Re: Cycle Analyst with 2 shunt with new firmware

Here you go. This should be accurate, but field formats may vary a bit... The possible flags you are seeing in your log is the "Solar GPS" firmware column. The 'g' and 'r' flags indicate if the data from the GPGGA and GPRMC GPS records is valid. if these flags ar absent then the last valid value is...

Re: Cycle Analyst with 2 shunt with new firmware

Sorry about the general lack of documentation, but this firmware was never really meant to be released (hence the 'x' designation for experimental) - it was throwaway development firmware. I filled in the help file so the settings are described, but the other questions about which you had questions...

Re: Cycle Analyst with 2 shunt with new firmware

No. Green wire to pin 3 (ThI). ThI -> Throttle In , I should have understood that on the production Shunt, there is 3 wire, the green for Throttle, the Yellow for Speedo and a Black is the black a Ground ? should I connect it too ? I juste received everything I need to connect this, I am going to t...

Good idea to limit the power. thank you One of the problem is speed. I won't be able to go fast. in the error code of the Ezee controller, I see Temperature Sensor Fault

Ezee motor and 10K NTC thermsitor

I bought an Ezee motor 350 RPM and I will travelling in mountain for a few weeks. I am afraid of the temperature of the motor combine with the fact that air pressure at those altitude is below 70 kPa, the cooling won't be optimum. I dont think my Ezee motor has a temperature sensor build in. I saw t...
