Re: Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike high efficiency 1500w motor

Anybody knows, whats the name of the m14 thread on the leafbike motor ? I had a metric m14 lock nut laying around, I was planning to use. But the pitch on the leafbike axel, is different. I guess it s m14x1.5. If not than fine thread m14x1.25, but that s super rare 1.5mm ?? Yes. See : https://en.wi...

Re: Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike high efficiency 1500w motor

Well, the *rim* is v-brake compatible, so that' sprobably what they meant. The wheel as a whole is disc compatible as long as it has the mount on the hub, if your frame or fork supports disc. There is a catch, though: not every disc caliper will fit with every motor, without using a rotor larger th...

If not using the Speed controller from the Leaf motor kit, which one then ? It would be nice to have a display and throttle, like the one from the leafbike kit..

Comming from the esk8 world..... Anybody running these hubmotors on the VESC controller ??

Thanks

What do you think about the hub kit from banggood ? Better out there, or are all these chinese kits sort of the same....?

Re: 18650 spot welding -how to- ULTIMATE REPOSITORY

Sorry if this have been asked before. But i`m going to spot weld my first li-ion pack, so i want to be sure i understand the Amp draw correctly, so i build my pack the right way with the right nickel stribs for the current. Re: BOMA 2000 watt speed and torque

I think that motor will be way too fast unless you can use a larger sprocket on the rear axle. You need to match the power band of the motor to the gearing/weight of the vehicle. What is the wheel diameter? How many teeth are on the rear sprocket? Do you want to still be able to pedal? If you get a...

BOMA 2000 watt speed and torque

Hello And thanks for having me on this forum..... :-) I`m planning to build an electric motor on a kettcar pedal go kart, just for the fun of it, and for keeping the weight low. I´m looking at the BOMA 2000 watt 60v brushless motor. How fast would people think i will run with this motor ? And would ...
