Re: Power Velocity and MXUS

The aluminium work looks very neat. How do you attach the box to the frame? Thanks, we did all the folded sheet metal design then took it to a fabrication shop to fold and weld. That's why it's so neat haha. I didn't want to drill or weld the frame anywhere so it attaches with clamps and bolts. It'...

Any references for why you selected that particular one?

Only trace of SZXJR I find are wrt cheap chargers.
It was cheap, had good (potentially fake) reviews and met the current requirements I needed.

Did you ask seller? I bet they can help you!
I figured it all out through another forum user. The seller can be quite unresponsive but the hardware is great.

Re: What ebrakes do you use?

Hmm good to know. Had been told bad things about the switches but if they work, can't argue!

I'll go for those unless anyone has other experience with dedicated e bike brakes?

X2 what @yermommy said.

I bought a sabvoton 72150 w/tft and it was complete trash(lasted 50mi). I'm running a Mobipus controller now, its FOC, not sure it's the cheapest. SamD sells them if you're interested, Good luck.
Just messaged Sam. The Mobipus looks very very promising! Thanks :D

Best controller for 20S 3kW motor?

Hi all,

Would you recommend me controllers for a 3kW motor, running a 20s 90A pack?

Also what is the cheapest FOC controller that fits these requirements?

Thanks! :D

Looking for custom size nickel strips

I want to get some Nickel tape samples of
0.15 x 11mm
0.2 x 11mm
0.25 x 11mm
0.3 x 11mm

Then whatever I end up using I'd want about 100m.

Anyone know somewhere I can get samples ASAP and then a good place for a bulk order, preferably in the UK?

Thanks!

Re: High Current 18650 interconnects

I'm building a battery pack made of approx 700 18650 cells split into 4 smaller cell packs. Each cell pack will be supplying 250A peak and they're all in series to get a total voltage around 400V Just to be clear, you are building four packs that output 100V and 250A (which will then be 'series-ed'...
