Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

The file you send shows limits of 80kph and 70kph for presets 1 and 2 respectively, so this bike will never get to 105kph. You may have made a change when experimenting and forgotten... (happens to me all the time) Are you sure that it's my file that you looked in? I've just opened the one that I s...

Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

Holiday weekend - so a quick answer... But when I engage preset #1 again it just presumes the Auto cruise. Before the update it was reset so it didn't just engage when shifting back. Does this make sense? I need to look this up but I believe this may be a known issue. I'll get back. 2: I've noticed...

Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

Before hand, sorry for my ignorance please ask if you need any more info. I have now been out testing the settings and I have almost hit the same settings as before the update. Two things hare bugging me though. 1: Iv'e got 2 presets, and on one of them I have Throttle Auto Cruise enabled (Preset #1...

Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

Ok - apologies for the confusion. Also - the Help file explained the hardware override for the Console Button Hot Swap feature but did not mention the preset parameter override. I just updated the Help/ToolTips so that will be cleared up in the future. Thanks for bringing that up.... :) No need for...

Re: Bouncing rear wheel.

Lower tire pressure might help a lot. I'll try that, I'm at 2,3bar right now. It sure is a heavy rear wheel, 21kg assembled  But I guess that motorcycles and scooters also have a lot of this unsprung weight :? Motorcycles do what they can to _minimize_ unsprung weight in the wheels since it's...

Somethingg you could check is if under sideloading the swingarm is binding and releasing.
Just had the entire swinging mechanism disassembled, no signs of binding were to see.

Re: Bouncing rear wheel.

Rebound control is pretty limited on most bicycle shocks. Thus it is the most difficult part of the rear suspension tuning when you fit a hub motor. While some shocks only require thicker oil, some other can’t be tuned to dampen a heavy wheel without mod. It is usually enough to mod the damper valv...

Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

When I learned that I starts at #2 regardless I figured that it indeed is easier to switch the presets.

Thanks for the insightful help!

Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

I've got a CA3 Rev.3 It had FW 3.0 AFAIK. reed switch is NO and is wired up to POT and GND. I chosen Analog AUX settings as 2-Pos SW controlling presets. Just tested and yes it starts on #2, I just assumed it to start on #1 because that what I set it to. Is there a way to change this? So a NO contac...

Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

I dunno how, but got it working! Updated to 3.12 ... wow such settings much different! My old settings were erased so had to start from scratch :( I'm stuck at the AUX settings, I can see that it's a bit different and I'm now stuck. This is what I had going before the FW update: I've got a magnetic ...

There must be a golden unsprung weight to sprung weight ratio that I'm unaware of

Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

So I got the " Unable to communicate with the Cycle Analyst in a timely manner. " problem, and was happy to read that CA3-12 could fix this. But when I try to update I get this: https://dzwonsemrish7.cloudfront.net/items/20383c3Z022X1S0Q030J/Skærmbillede%202018-08-27%20kl.%2016.21.08.png?v=edefa45c ...

Bouncing rear wheel.

Hi. I've got a problem with my rear wheel, it sorta "jumps" whenever I make a somewhat sharp turns above a certain speed. Could this be solved with fine tuning my rear suspension or is it just something I have to live with? Specs of rear wheel setup: Bike: Mongoose triple black diamond Motor: QS 300...

Re: Sabvoton 72150 Programming Problems

Changing the phase wires did not help, now the "Slide recharge" just accelerate backwards
I am now quite confident that i'm having a faulty controller :(

If you decide to buy from QS, I can highly recommend them, they provide great service!

Re: Sabvoton 72150 Programming Problems

So just to be sure.
What would you do if you make a change?

Would you then do it like this?
Edit the setting.
Press OK.
Press yes for parameter store.
Press OK.
Turn off ignition.
Remove USB cable.
Disconnect battery.

Re: Sabvoton 72150 Programming Problems

I was having the same issues until I used the key switch wire to shut it down (reset) vs the main power connection. It has been relatively reliable on saves since for me. Hall test still fails. Runs good regardless. I have some new hall sensors to install next time I pull the motor apart if I find ...
