Re: Any good and simple "cop button" solutions?

One button solution I came across this info on the KT controllers with LCD3 display on a different thread , should work with the lcd5 display as well. I may try it. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=92916 https://i.imgur.com/Zcx5mbH.png Several things I recall reading about the K...

All reflectors must go and muted reflector led lights used in place The pdf file explains that standard radar has a wide beam angle of 11 to 18 degrees and is not good for signalling out a specific speeder in traffic. Its unlikely a car mounted radar will pick out a ebiker from the traffic. Lidar ne...

Re: Single-speed track stealth ultralight

my last controller had a white self learn I read it was a common scheme with controllers although my 2nd controller does not and it has the ability to correct the hall wires (apparently) For regen I think I would set it to off if not its lowest setting with a gear motor. Likely it will not make a di...

In case they are misaligned
Make sure the self learn wire (it should be the white wire in the hall sensor connector) are aligned in both connectors

Re: Close encounter.......

Its barely noticeable but in the last 25-30% of the corner I was actually being pulled to the left about 3 feet under front braking with the Motor at full throttle. You see the bike suck into the turn when I apply the brake then a moment later Im pulled off course. Normally when you apply some front...

I only have experience with my hub and controller> Try resetting and running threw the cycle from the beginning. Hopefully someone chimes in this morning with phase runner knowledge so you can get this up and running. I would wait for that advice befor switching wires :)

Re: Single-speed track stealth ultralight

Its common for hall sensors wires to be the wrong pin holes at the connector ends.
I switched two wires of three (not positive /negative) a few times until the motor synced and ran smooth. In my case I had to switch phase wires around as well. White was the speed sensor for some its the self learn

Re: Close encounter.......

Usually its someone else fault this close encounter was my own doing I entered the corner too early / sharp and did not see the car coming I try to slow nailing the front brake hoping to suck the front wheel in at the same time but end up fighting the hub motor threw the corner instead. Now I have o...

In the beginning I was thinking would be fine on the ebike without brake cut off levers , well not anymore after yesterdays incident. I think I have it on film too. In a turn yesterday a car headed toward a stop sign moved close to the center line after i had committed to the corner so I apply the f...

Re: The SB Cruiser: Amberwolf&Dogman's 2WD CargoTrike&DogCarrier

When i think about it more it makes better sense and possible cheaper to use junkyard / / someones backyard somewhere with dozens of scrap bike motorcycles to pick over for cheap wheels. Two rear wheels with disc brake and a front disc for the front , ideally matching Honda / Yamaha or what ever rim...

Re: "Hot rod" ebike on the cheap

High Volts and a motor that handles it . I like the idea of a speed record streamliner more then a 1/8th or 1/4 mile racer. A racer would be easy a streamliner not so much.

I had a nice thought about eh hem speeding lol 40k anyways my thought is the cruisers radars will not pick up a ebikes speed when traffic is on the road.

I am starting to think about cruisers sneaking up on me now as they eventually will

Re: The SB Cruiser: Amberwolf&Dogman's 2WD CargoTrike&DogCarrier

This looks like nice cable. Might be; would have to find reviews of it in my application (like on pedicabs or other heavy-cargo haulers). I wonder why they went with partial-spiral instead of simple straight wires? Makes it not quite as "compressionless" as straight would be . How about a motorcycl...

Re: "Hot rod" ebike on the cheap

Skip the ups battery idea you wont beat a hamster with them , use car batteries you will get real serious amps , 4 x 13.2v = 52.8 volts and about 300 amps for a possible 15,840 watts.
You can find big ass hub motors on the web ..

The citations can move into the category of operating an unlicensed motor vehicle and doing so without insura...

Re: '98 Quintana Roo panamint mxus xf07 350w fr hub

I have not taken averages but do see speed variation on the way back. The road im on now front half is good the back half has crackled rough pavement but is nice and straight. The roads are industrial roads used to truck wood chips all day / night. The back 1km has not been paved in years and years ...

Re: '98 Quintana Roo panamint mxus xf07 350w fr hub

My angle :) is I don't want to delude myself with inaccurate high speed numbers that make me happy :D I don't see how my motor goes faster then the simulators motor so I want to find a flatter and smoother road to run on to be sure Im not peaking the speedo on a 1 degree slopne. 1 degree is 10 inche...
