Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

I agree there is not a good bike like a 65cc dirt bike size.

The Kuberg cross and Oset MX10 models are too small - same with the SSR SZR800W and its got poor performance out of the box.

Re: 45KW + Electric Dirt Bike Best Motor, Batteries, Controller

I would get a Kuberg Freeride or a Sur Ron and ride them to get an idea of the limitations of electric for motocross. They will cost you the same as what you would put into the build and you would get to ride more and learn about - 48v vs 60v - the role of the controller - direct drive vs mid drive ...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike from China

I'm liking the concept but what kind of dudes make a dirt bike with no front fender - I mean they must not ride in the dirt at all....

Re: Apollo 250 Dirt Bike Conversion

Thanks you VERY helpful. Did you get your KLS controller from Eastgem or right from Kelly? I assume this is the right one? http://www.eastgem.net/kelly-controller-7218.html On the batteries - I wanted to have 48V - would I get something like this and run 4 of them in series? https://hobbyking.com/en...

Re: Apollo 250 Dirt Bike Conversion

Hey skeetab5780,

I'm working on a KTM 50 conversion for my son. Going to go with the same setup as the v2 of your Apollo. Any chance you can help with the wiring were to get a similar battery.

Help with Kuberg Controller

Hi Everyone, Having trouble sourcing a controller that will work on the Keuberg Cross we got second hand for my son. Here is a photo. Anyone know where I can get one of these? The two small plugs seem to go to a switch to turn the bike on and off. The other plug go to the throttle (5pin) and then th...
