Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW

Sorry for the off topic ... I have big problems with a linshui control unit, purchased new together with its display and torque sensor. https://it.aliexpress.com/item/4000038619326.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.6dde4c4dkpGqIs On the stand the control unit worked, even if it worked badly, the engine sto...

Re: My attempt at a lightweight EMTB with torque based PAS

the problem with the freewheel is that to make it work, I have to mount it upside down, with the writing inside. If mounted in the right direction the ring tightens well but does not work for a central motor. Vert strange for a freewheel of a central motor. Is it the same for you? the jobike forum i...

Re: My attempt at a lightweight EMTB with torque based PAS

I'm more than curious too, unfortunately the sprocket that I have now sled under stress and I can't try it, I have to wait for it to arrive from china ... always hoping it will work! However I will keep you updated. The engine in the original configuration is certainly more reliable, at least I thin...

Re: My attempt at a lightweight EMTB with torque based PAS

I can confirm that the torque sensor cyc works with the lishui control unit sold on aliexpres, only I have problems the engine continues to turn for 3-4 seconds after I stop pedaling and this is very dangerous. It also starts immediately at the slightest pressure on the pedals Ouch, 3-4 seconds ove...

Re: lishui torque controller problem

The control unit has just been mounted. in this short video you can see the delay. For now I don't have the right sprocket and I can't test it on the road, even for this I haven't published anything, the modification I made to the motor to turn the axle could last 10 meters :-( it's experimental :-)...

Re: lishui torque controller problem

thanks, I tried but many of the fields in the manual don't work or have different settings.
In particular p11 and p12 which should regulate the sensitivity and the force applied to the pedal have no effect.

lishui torque controller problem

I have a problem with this controller and its torque sensor. https://it.aliexpress.com/item/4000038619326.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.7b824c4dB4T6pn torque controller.png The engine starts at the slightest pressure on the pedals and stops spinning 4-5 seconds after removing the pressure on the pedals...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I made one last try, a little desperate. The first controller, broken after less than an hour, (torque sensor not detected) had the pas sensor working, disassembled and tested. The second new controller, the torque sensor also did not work, but from tests made, the fault was of the pas that did not ...

I am a poor single and I think you are a very lucky man for your beautiful family, congratulations. I disagree on the need to be NASA engineers to manage this engine. Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Switching to another brand like Bafang is possible and maybe the best way if you have lost confidence, but Tsdz2 is the only engine you can service with a reasonable price for the parts and ofcourse torque sensor and OSF. This it's the problem a new motor IMPOSSIBLE to service. It's a very very big...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

P.S. Every post mentioning the hidden menu says hold info+power 10 seconds, but that does not work on mine. Mine requires first to press info once, then hold info+power 3 seconds, then info 3 times. I figured this out by dumb luck after being very frustrated using the wrong instructions. Just wante...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Unfortunately it is practically impossible to test the pas with the ECU mounted on the engine. If it is disassembled then it is no longer possible to use the magnets of the torsometer. At this point I think it is also useless, since the second ECU is new, it hasn't even traveled 1 km, and has the sa...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Sorry if I talk about this problem but it drives me crazy and I just don't know how to fix it. I bought a tsdz2. 48v from pswpower at the end of June. I immediately changed firmware with mbrusa version 20 01b. The engine stopped running after less than an hour. The torsometer no longer works. The wa...

Re: TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

If I got that right, you had a new engine that ran fine. You flashed it and then it stopped working. Then you installed a new controller and a new torque sensor and the engine ran back to normal. Then you flashed again and the engine did not run again. Flashing back the stock firmware did not work ...

unfortunately I did not make the backup, I tried to put back the original firmware taken from the eco-ebike site, including option byte but it no longer worked. it may be that we have changed something in the control units in the reading of the pas sensor? and the current code no longer fits? what o...

Re: TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

I opened the engine again for the umpteenth time. the oscillation of the torsometer is due to the fact that it slides on the roller bearing. I made a custom copper washer, now the torsometer turns perfect less than one mm from the pas sensor but nothing works anyway. therefore it is not a problem of...
