Seems the KT-LCD3 firmware is 98% finished!!
Do you have walk assist in LCD3?

Yes, LCD3 already implement walk assist but is the TSDZ2 motor controller firmware that lacks the needed implementation.

Thanks Casainho.
Have an Happy new year.

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Casainho, soon I am submitting a new pull request with a new function: time measuring. Wanted to make another video explaining and showing the function but have no time right now. ( haha  ) I think it would be smart to incorporate this in the version 0.17 release. Changes: - Time measured sin...

Happy to try both ideas guys :)

Casainho if we get the min current set up then that may also solve the lag issue leaving us to modify the inverse ramp as a simple way of startup boost ???
Jbalat do you have the lag issue in the v0.3?

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Hi EC,

Last night I was wondering how you can test the engine in the steep mountains if you live in a completely flat country like the Netherlands?

:D :D :D

Or do you live on the border with another more mountainous country?

Regards

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

I think you are using a 48V battery and jbalat is using a 36V battery. In this forum people says higher battery voltage allows higher cadence. Maybe you must be aware of this in your tests with Jbalat´s V0.3 version. Regards Thanks, I did now that ;) I agree with jbalat that the cadence is a bit li...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

No worries, btw very dissapointed you still haven’t increased the cadence. I was out doing some mountain biking yesterday on the way home from work and I had to take a run up to get up the hill and noticed the motor did not want to do anything above 95 cadence... if you like I can do those changes ...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Hey EC if you do get to try my firmware then you will be using the quick power feature all the time. top and middle buttons together. I just want to make a couple of examples. I am tired so I use max assist 5 so I don’t have to press the peddles hard, but I set max power to 200 so I don’t use too m...

1 - Can you give me the link where you bought the temperature sensor? 2 - When do you plan to have walk Assist? As you saw in GR22 sometimes we need, walk assist, in the mountains. 1: https://www.ebay.com/itm/LM35DZ-Sensore-di-Temperatura-TO-92-Centigrade-Temperature-Sensors/141254870285?ssPageName...

The problem is these advertisements take up like 80% of the posts now and has completely commandeered...

Hi, Samsung 35E : ~25A Continuous, 34A Max Burst Current - battery spec Jumbo Skark . SPEC Samsung 35E gives 8 A continuous and 13A burst. And you have 5 in parallel. (8x5=40A and 65A). The limitation is the Jumbo Shark BMS not the Samsung 35E. This Jumbo Shark is very good. 18A TSDZ is Burst Curre...

Yep the sprag clutch transfers your pedal power to your chain this is independent of the motor whether it is running or not. It’s fairly easy to replace if you have a small press. You could probably make something up using an old hydraulic car jack or just go to a local mechanic and see if he can h...
