Re: Nucular Electronics owner's thread (setup infos, FW updates, links etc.)

My Hotkey programming options don't offer any choice to select cruise, reverse, S3 etc. Strange, I have my hotkeys set up for s1,s2,s3 and reverse. Seems odd if that wouldn't be possible anymore. I dont use cruise, so I havent tried to program that. If it is a button to activate while riding, then ...

Re: Nucular Electronics owner's thread (setup infos, FW updates, links etc.)

24F Nucular with Sur Ron harness question. (it is not supplied with all the extra connectors for Cruise, Reverse, 3 way switch etc) As delivered, is it only capable of two speeds, S1 and S2? It almost seems that the documentation describes a process of assigning display Hotkeys with these extra func...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Thumb throttle thoughts: Why is the geometry of the light bee as delivered sacrosanct while the OEM throttle type is not? I don't like riding my atv for extended periods as my thumb knuckle gets sore and the thumbtip gets frozen if it is cold outside. The hammer to twist throttle comparison is only ...

Re: Trials Motorcycle - 1st Build. Qs-motor +Votol

So for conversation sake, and ensure I'm tracking. Does this work out in other formats as well? as long as I end up to 72 volts, then match it for more capacity on with Parallel? For example: 14.8V 8000mAh 90C 4S Lipo Battery (Understood this is not probably a true 90C) Would I run 5 in Series to g...

Re: SURRON LB: RESEARCH & DEVELOPEMENT

from the Zemso webpage:
Range:
EU Legal 45kph @ 27wh/km -> 120Km
offroad @ 40wh/km -> 80km

does that battery consumption seem accurate? I think I'm burning over 60Wh/km offroad

Very nice battery by the looks of it

Re: SURRON LB: RESEARCH & DEVELOPEMENT

The CRF forks are working great. Most of the theoretical problems with this swap are non-issues in my riding environment. I want a stable motorcycle feel rather than a twitchy mountainbike feel and, not surprisingly, the crf forks provide that. Steep descents are especially more friendly now. The C...

Re: SURRON LB: RESEARCH & DEVELOPEMENT

A drop in 72V battery is now available that doesn't require you to sacrifice your OEM one. Great for those who are running aftermarket controllers. https://litespeedbikes.mybigcommerce.com/72v-30ah-for-surron/ Now that more and more people have spare batteries, we need a way to bring them along on ...

I'm definitely not an expert but the Blue hall wire is completely different than a shield or ground wire. I'm thinking that maybe the blue hall is left not connected in your case.?

Have you looked in your parameter menu regarding selecting Hall vs Sin/cos sensors?

Re: First build Petrol Pit Bike to Electric Conversion CRF-110 Frame

hey no apologies, i could be wrong in my calculations, too! If my numbers are correct, your battery may or may not be suitable depending on what you want the bike to do. 12000 watts might be more power than the gas engine puts out on that bike.

I am considering buying a built 60V 60 ah battery. Is it going to work with the stock X controller?
If you unplug your small connector on your stock battery, however your bike behaves in that condition should be the way it behaves with the new pack. What battery are you looking at?

Re: First build Petrol Pit Bike to Electric Conversion CRF-110 Frame

I think you end up with 34ah, not 68.

If each pack can push 60 amps the you get 12000 watts peak.

95 percent done now. Its gross, a real dog's breakfast situation :shock: The stock surron battery shuts down if you push it too hard so you have to tweak the battery amps to keep the bms happy. One reason for changing controllers was the potential of using other battery configurations. 12s BMW cells...
