Re: bluetooth BMS?
The balance between the cell group voltages looks close enough to me, where I wouldn't worry about it right now. Measure the voltage coming out of the charger with a DMM (multi-meter), and the voltage at the charge connector that you're plugging it into, and then report back. Most chargers have a b...

Re: bluetooth BMS?
What does this mean? The charger keeps blinking green and does not charge. Maybe it is because of the voltage difference or is there a bad cell? Draining group 14 does not help when it's connected to other groups. I assume that would also be the case when charging the weakest group....? The groups s...

If you are interested, I'll let you know how the 6fet I have behaves @52V (stock amps, I'm like you and don't want to up the amps for now). Hi. I'm trying to do the same thing. I'm running 2wd with 2xS06S 6fet controllers and planning to run these with 52V battery. I have not modified the controlle...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
Have you checked the output of throttle singal wire, is it 0.8 ... 4.2 V? Yes. No output voltage. Seems like PAS has given up also. I guess I have to buy two new ones. To rid the misery I might as well buy new S06S's and beef up my bike with 52V battery :D These (bmsbattery.com) controllers can run...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
Hello. It's been a while. I made a mistake with my 2wd setup(2X KT S06S). I connected the e-brake connections of both controllers parallel to the same e-brake sensor and realized a second too late that I should have not done that. The throttle signal was also shared between the controllers(powered b...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW
BluOSEC seems to act weird. I changed my battery Voltage Min Value and it returns 0, not 116 what I intended. Also Battery Voltage Max changed on it's own to 0 because of this (from 153). I changed the battery voltage calibration to 70 (from 50) and added new values accordingly to min and max just t...

Where does a S06SSVP controller running the FOSS firmware, with just a single Hall phase current sensor Fit into this "true FOC" vs "pseudo FOC mode" continuum? Well, can the "true FOC" be achieved with the components of the KT controllers? If not, then I guess this is...

Correct? Yes, if the gear has only one stage. I guess, it has more stages, as the displayed speed is that much to high. But you can easily check it by comparing the shown speed with a speedometer. If you have the external speedsensor set active, make sure, that the number of pulses per wheel revolu...

Ok, so as it seems I have 21 teeth on the drive gear and 36 teeth on each driven gears. no, I guess, you have a planetary gear. So number of teeth of the planet gears is irrelevant, important is the ratio from the sun gear to the ring gear. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/31/...

I set gear ratio 10 because I counted 20 magnets at the hub. Is this correct? For a direct drive it is OK, if it's a geared motor, you have to multiply the 10 with the mecanical gear ratio. regards stancecoke Ok, so as it seems I have 21 teeth on the drive gear and 36 teeth on each driven gears. So I just have to try different motor specific angle parameters and see what works? Yes, try to add/substract 64 to/from your recent value (64 is 90 degree as 256 is 360 degree) Or just increase/decrease in steps of 15 and check what happens... :bolt: And so it happens that everything works! :bolt:...

Did this soldering extended legs to pcb and used external 12V input. The output pin gave 4.99V so the chip seems to be fine. OK, then check if the LM317 IC is working properly by applying 20v on its Vin pin and checking if: - The LM317 output reaches 13-15V - The 78L05 outputs 5V properly again (in...
