Re: Throttle with hall sensor question

Yeahhh I was gonna make a topic on this as well, and I don't know why my motor's being funky. Even when my motor's not connected to my controller, when I set my throttling to 1 for the and twist the throttle, it seems to give the hall sensor error as well. Is the throttle just bad? Dependant upon y...

Re: Throttle with hall sensor question

All functions are retained exception of switching power the new cable is six core rather than five. The different voltages 5v throttle, 60-88 volts display of was also present on the key switch, 5v or 12v key switch for reverse. Don’t forget the fuses! I never did utilised the voltage display. I cou...

Re: Throttle with hall sensor question

Yeah sure Tommycat, you have permission. Just remember a credit now and again does help, I have somewhere photos of the original throttle after I rewired the thing. Dam useful to access reverse & keep the voltage display functional. After this experience I’ve lost all competence in these throttl...

Throttle with hall sensor question

Previous throttle was exact same and I rewired to allow the switch to access reverse feature on my Kelly controller. However, when I took the cover off this time the throttle was on the handlebar and the hall sensor came away and I have no idea how to fix this? Anyone with any pointers? I’ve a spare...

Just went to order a spare part and been told minimum order €250!

The freewheel actual fact broke from the first week or two although took me a while actual figure out the intermittent noise. When I could no longer peddle I knew where the noise came from.

Post a picture of your charger, many have a small blue pot inside and are able to dial down the voltage and charge current.

Fischer & Proline SW-LCD

Anyone with a manual for this unit? I appreciate it’s a generic SW display system. I’ve got varying versions of the manual but not the specific one as issued by Fischer.

Any pointers much appreciation.

Re: Vector bike and frame owners.

Vector Typhoon, at EV charge station. Successful initialisation of charge station with RFID, card. I’ve charged the pack several times with the Kelly controller live and experienced no problems. Also charged with the alarm activated and found no problems. The higher voltage up from 52v extended the ...

Re: Vector bike and frame owners.

Now having extended the frame width was able to build King Kong battery a 21s 18p 60+Ah pack. Been ramping up the voltage just rode at 86volt with the Kelly controller dialled down on battery and motor phase current less than 50%. Level three power switch is at 80%. Battery has available a facility ...

Re: Vector bike and frame owners.

Yeah, I’ve extend my Typhoon, 10mm each side and changed out the bottom bracket 177mm. Did involve grinding the left crank down. Beyond 177mm is more complex as the chain alignment must be taken into consideration. I have a plan resolve the issue but as yet not ordered any parts to validate the idea...

Re: How I charge my ebike from J1772

Thanks to the original if only the cluttter wasn’t here. This post gave most interest being in Eu, we have Type 2 connector and I’m finding my adapter plug won’t function on the big ABB units see EL Drive App. In fact over past few days I’ve found three Type 2 sockets and either switched off or don’...

Re: I'm writing an app for Kelly KLS

Be useful to view motor temperature and safer than opening the Aduser App, while power is applied to the motor. Well I was able to communicate with the kelly over bluetooth and see voltage, phase amps, temperatures etc. I was thinking that if you use the extra analog brake regen input as an analog s...

Re: type 2 connector for an ebike??

Firstly I should add I discovered the charger a 1800w cc cv booster -48v 20amp power supply- had a loose connection on the output and result were intermittent charge or no charge. Now added a chassis mount Neutrik Powercon plug prevent cable movement. Manual release switch? Key switch. No, the wires...

Re: type 2 connector for an ebike??

The type 2 plug to schuko socket arrived. I opened the plug to find a diode and some resistors. I mated the plug to a charge station and the socket locked the plug and was no charge given. Plug remained mated until power was disconnected. 87492AD5-0521-464B-A99E-A703AD47B1C0.jpg Inside a type 2 with...

100mph what a rad idea. Do bring that to existence. :bigthumb: Different Typhoon seat options would be a great. Particularly if those were slight extended and flat horizontal rather than at an angle. Although, appreciate maybe a reason seat remains at an angle to the vertical of ground. My Vector Ty...

Do tell me more. I’ve seen type 2 plugs with a 13 amp uk socket. Although wonder if there be more to this than that what appears simplistic? If someone could crack this open be just awesome. That's all you need, along with your regular battery charger. I noted that most of the ready made cables hav...

Re: Opportunity Charging in the UK

Someone mentioned there are two pins to measure resistance. Anyone get any further with this? Does the ready made cable access 230v 16amp without need further modification? I find it’s more troublesome to find a charge point in a big city that in a village. As I plan on a 300km ride this maybe a bac...
