Re: Bafang SW102 Bluetooth LCD - OpenSource firmware and mobile app

One of that sellers is already selling online TSDZ2 and KT-LCD3 flashed with our firmware. Why not trust them? Trust aside, this seller charge for flashing and don't ship outside of north America. For a non north-american wanting to save $35 (+ expensive shipping if they were to ship anyway), that ...

Re: BOSS LEVEL CUSTOM SPOT WELDER

I've bought a 75C 5Ah Turnigy Graphene. I hope it'll be enough (my two 25C in series weren't). Regarding the lead batteries, I don't think a 100Ah/680A rated battery can ouptut 680A continuously, it must be a burst rating. But lipo may have a lot less voltage sag, which could explain why I got no go...

Re: Electric longboard AEBoards - $500

Thanks, it seems I didn't read thoroughly enough and their website is not the clearer about all the configs they offer.
$719 is for kit with extra wheels though, $650 without.

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

Should we discuss the feature list of SW102? What is important data for me: + Speed + Consumed Wh / Battery bar + Current Assist Level + Distance traveled (since power on / since reset) + Timer (since switched on / actually riding) + Basic settings (f.i. I don't need to set max. amount of assist le...

Re: Electric longboard AEBoards - $500

Maybe you coud specify the model (and the page product you're talking about maybe ?), because I couldn't find any 12Ah pack equipped board on their website (max I could find is a 11Ah but in 10S5P).

I've tested two car batteries at my disposal : a 44Ah/440A and a 54Ah/520A. Both fully charged, both 100% working in a car, both failed.
I've just tested a 100Ah/680A battery. Better that the others with 0,1mm nickel @ 4ms, but not enough. Did nothing with 0.2mm.
I'll go buy a lipo pack

Mine comes from AnnPower, in 0.2x10mm. This seller was recommended in the Boss thread, and I can understand why (10 days from order to delivery, good quality).

Re: Has anyone bought batteries from E-S member Kajman?

I did buy 2 VTC6 10S3P packs from him (Husqvarna rejects because of doa BMS). Very nice person, shipping was fast.
I had a couple of cells that had external damage he didn't notice, he made no difficulty to refund them (since he couldn't replace them). I'm very happy with my experience with him.

Re: Small triangle, big problems. Trying to find a battery that fits my bike.

- EM3ev Triangle Pack: Might fit, possibly wont Assuming my crude cutout is correct, this is the only battery that will actually fit. Problem is the bag is too big by several inches. I suspect I could probably mash the bag fabric in to make it fit but with the fabric and padding of the bag, I don't...

:bigthumb: Great post invisionelite. There's very few data reported about car batteries. Fails mostly. Your feedback is much appreciated. I use the fist one (I had already seen the same recommendation elsewhere).
I'll try to add a pack in parallel (I have 5 of these packs) just because I'd like to avoid buying a dedicated battery.

Re: MiniSpotA spot welder

I had time to test mine yesterday. I can't say I'm disappointed since I had no particular expectation (this is my first and only spotwelder) and all observations may well result from my total inexperience. For tests, I used the provided 0.1x5mm nickel strip (supposedly pure, didn't think to test thi...

Okay so at least they won't destroy it (I keep thinking this is stupid lawmaking). You could easily get it resent with "proper" paperwork as a retail frame, all hope is not lost ! Just as a curiosity, would it change anything is the bike wasn't a sale trade ? (like idk a gift or even yourself shippi...

Re: $299 Prototype High Power e-Bike Frame DIY Kit

Some customs are better informed, some of them are not. I've read it, and found some points supporting my experience: paragraphs (22), (23), (25), (26) and others clearly mention the fact that the product is placed on the market. Here, you're not importing for resell (you're not a distri...

Yes, I received mine at german customs but I could not take it with me because of EU laws. Product has no manufacturer whos responsible, no framenumbers, no discribtion, no data, etc. Absolut bull**** ! Even if I agree this is complete crap, this is not a EU regulation. I saw min/max temp settings in the configurator, does anyone uses it with success ?

[EU] Montague Paratrooper

Hello, I'm looking for a Montague Paratrooper for a new project. It does not have to be a complete bike (missing fork, wheel or drivetrain isn't a problem, I will consider any option), but I'm not looking for an ebike (no motor, controller or battery needed). Preferably a post 2016 model (with the n...
