Re: Nucular Electronics owner's thread (setup infos, FW updates, links etc.)

On the diagram, connectors are seen "from the front" (ie looking from the side where they interact with each other).

Red = +5V
Black = GND
White = Temperature sensor
Others = hall sensor

(Hope I answer your question bc I'm not sure what you meant :) )

I see 3 wires so I'm thinking hall sensor.

Any update on the remote throttle pot?
I have one on my build. It's definitely a hall (opened it to extend the wires).
Runs perfect with a NCY throttle.

Re: Nucular Electronics owner's thread (setup infos, FW updates, links etc.)

I'm really happy with this controller. Really good stuff. I was a bit overwhelmed by all the settings at first, but taking my time and reading the wiki I managed to get it working without burning anything (yet). This is my first ebike/controller. I still have a lot to understand before I can use thi...

Potting is good for manufacturers and at best a mixed bag for everybody else. [...] Please NEVER make potting mandatory! While I agree with (most of) what you said, wasn't it clear that it was an option ? For 12F filling price will be about 15$ It's probably not the best place to have the "potting ...

Re: Vanishing Rubber Cement (Patch Kit)

So I went down to the dollar store and got a cheap bottle of clear nail polish (chose the flattest shape), dumped the contents, and rinsed it twice with acetone. After it was fully dried, I filled it with rubber cement. It's a great idea, plus those bottles are available empty if you want to avoid ...

Yeah, learning to tune your own wheel will be worth it.
:bigthumb:

Never felt better than when I first laced and trued a wheel (~2 weeks ago).
Now I know I don't need anyone to make wheel decently true, and won't have the kind of remarks you did.

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW

I don't have a good understanding of the electronics behind LVC so I thought it would be a good idea to ask first. If I were using a lower voltage, I guess I'd still be in the mesurement range of the LVC circuit. But when overvolting, isn't there a risk of falling out of that range and saturate the ...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW

I have quite the same question but the other way around : I have a 36/48V version, but I want to run it at 52V. The FETs and caps were changed to their 80V counterparts to accomodate higher voltage (and I am thinking about changing the LM317 regulator*), but is there any hardware modification to ma...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW

I saw that you can modify the LVC, so would that fix my problem or is it a hardware problem? No hardware problem, you can define any LVC with our open firmware. But I don't know, if your LCD works with lower voltages, as a special "high voltage" version of the LCD3 exists. regards stancecoke I have...

I'm looking for a reliable BB-mountable, torque sensing, 52V compatible motor, and this motor seems to tick those boxes (I was considering the TSDZ2 but the reliability seems not optimal to me). Is there any evolution regarding the whole flashing/programming side of things ? I mean, is there any way...

There usually are markings on the visible side of a standard FW.

Re: The wheel-building spoke-lacing thread, post your tips

With a little use, your spokes will break at the threads. They might do so even if you use cross-1 lacing. But they'll have a better chance. If there is any difference in angle between the spoke nipple and the spoke exiting it, the chances are good you will have breakages at the threaded ends. If I...
