Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW

Does this firmware show higher wattage numbers than the stock one with my LCD3? It tops out at 1999W although I'm using a lot more.

I can pay extra... So battery em3ev is any different from others?
Absolutely, they use brand cells and not the generic Chinese 18650.
These cells can provide a higher C rate and hold up to their specs pretty well. So the entire battery pack will be much more capable.

Re: Which controller and battery for new bafang g311?

EM3EV batteries are a lot better than your typical Ali batteries but they're also more expensive. When you're tight on a bugdget, I'd suggest you go for the 2.6Ah cells listed on the Ali item because they will most likely perform way better than the 3.4Ah ones. Chinese cells have a pretty low C rati...

Re: Lightweight Mountain Cart

I've got a few questions, hopefully you can answer them. Are you using for each motor one 36V battery or are you using the 72V combined for both? What is your market for this? Because it's not anymore a bike so you can't really drive it anywhere without huge costs for registration, TÜV, etc. It look...

That really sucks, sorry! Could you link the used lock? Just wanna know what I'll avoid. I'm using a ABUS Bordo X Granit Plus 6500 in the rear and a noname folding lock in the front currently. That someone steals my bike is my biggest fear because it's the only way I'm getting to work so I'm constan...

Re: MXUS 3k noname Cover Plates

Just enter „mxus 3k“ in google and it should be the first result (Austrian website) If it is 399, it is probably already in a rim, but you can also find some for 340-350euros in a rim. Yes I was talking about motors in rims. I've found two vendors for 299 but that's just the motor. I was thinking t...

Re: Where to buy cheap Li-pol batteries instead of Multistar?

Hm, I did not find any sale of Multistar batteries. The problem of International shipping is very high cost, when I am from Slovakia in Europe, shipping from worldwide store is around 80 USD. You need to spend 150$ and shipping is free. I've bought the 6S 20Ah Turningy from the International Wareho...

Thanks to both of you, really appreciated. :thumb: Do you know what the normal ratio is on a stock controller? Or is it different on each one? I really want to know how much phase current my stock 60V 45A KT controller has. You should ask to Kunteng and then configure that value on the firmware. Al...

Re: KT motor controllers -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for BMSBattery S/Kunteng KT motor controllers (0.25kW up to 5kW

Figured I ask here because I guess the developers of this firmware knows this best.
Does the standard KT controllers come with a higher Phase Amps than Battery Amps? e.g. 45A from the Battery but 70A goes to the motor?

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

I’d like to thank you guys for the replies. 1st. regen to increase battery life is not a big factor to me. I was more interested in the (braking) aspect to make it feel more like engine braking on an ICE bike. 2nd. So should I try to return the x to Luna (if that’s even possible) and wait for an af...

Re: what do i need ? a better controller ?

Your battery is the limiting factor, not your controller.
With that little 11.6Ah battery you can't draw 35A without a heavy voltage sag. That's the reason why you're getting slow speed. Get a better battery with either better cells or better capacity, both would be the best.

I don't have experience but I have assume that with little use the calendar life of the lipo cell will be what kills it eventually. Why do you never mention the prices?
That's really the only argument for these cells so we'll need prices.

Did anybody tested the kWeld against a Sunkko 709A? I'm looking forward to buying a spotwelder and like the possibility of the Sunkko devices to just run them off a socket. No need for a LiPo battery and just plug&play, comes with a soldering iron too. The prices are about the same for the Sunkko an...

Hello everyone. New build here. Question: are the internals the same for the different TSDZ2 units available (going from 250W to 750W)? Is the higher price for the higher wattage versions a marketing gimmick, or are the internals beefed up for the latter? After reading the material about the TSDZ2 ...
