Re: Fatbike with 3500w Bafang G510 Ultra max

I added pictures to the Google photos album. Have a look! It was simply not enough space... my 3D printer was not precise enough and my cells had 18,3mm diameter. Maybe you are able to bring this to work :)

Re: BBSHD Voltage Problem Firmware Update & Instructions

Hello guys, fasterbikes provided me a newer firmware, directly from Bafang. I paid for it, but I want to share it here with you.

Re: Fatbike with 3500w Bafang G510 Ultra max

Hey guys, I'm that person, who designed the layout. Haven't got time to 3D-print the parts yet and test fit everything. Going to give feedback and publish the whole design soon. https://photos.app.goo.gl/zHAfkTd9oUuBhV2t8 For the BMS, I use this chinese Smart BMS with BT and replace the MOSFETS and ...

Re: Bafang SW102 Bluetooth LCD - OpenSource firmware and mobile app

Hello, is it possible to install this custom firmware and use it with the default Bafang UART protocol? I just want to adapt a few things without swapping the firmware. Do you guys have the stock firmware to it?

Best regards,

[Project] Bafang ExtensionBox for BBSxx (Light, Brake, TurnLights, CopButton, HandlebarSwitches)

Because I live in a part of Europe where you are not allowed to ride unregistered bikes over 25km/h, I needed some kind of "protection". At the same time, I wanted to have brake-, turn- and front-light control, to be more visible to cars (and for fun, haha). My Bafang DP-18 display has a light switc...

Re: BAFANG BBSxx change settings on the fly (aka 'cop button') and BBSxx communication protocol

I'm still testing and experiencing a noticeable delay between braking and display speed changes. It takes 2-3 seconds until the display shows the correct value. I made a few changes in the code, but it's occurring even with the original code. I was wondering what's causing this behavior? Tried to di...

Bafang DPC-18 - Adapt settings using UART?

<r>Hey! I'm looking for commands to adapt a few settings in the display. I'm currently implementing this copbutton (<URL url="https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=94850"><LINK_TEXT text="viewtopic.php?t=94850">https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=94850</LINK_TEXT></URL>) an...

Re: Reention POLLY DP-6C - 70 cell battery case - how fit BMS?

Just wanted to share my experience on this. I was able to fit a smart BMS 30A (only 1 layered) on top. Pretty tricky to close the case, but it's possible to get it perfectly sealed. I managed to swap charging port and switch, to install an GX16 3-pin port and an 12mm self latching switch . https://i...

Re: BBSHD Controller not programmable

Maybe you should just buy an https://eggbikes.com/eggrider Thanks, but that's not what I'm asking for here. I like the challenge to reprogram it on the fly. I'm also planning to use the Mega 2560 for controlling the brake light system (https://imgur.com/a/viOtKUI). Maybe I switch to eggrider for te...

BBSHD Controller not programmable

I ended up frying my BBSHD Controller, while playing around, getting the wiring for this COP Box right. Then I recently received the new one, ordered from Aliexpress. For some reason I'm not able to use the programmed settings. I'm flashing them, but when I try to ride my bike it's back to the facto...

Re: BAFANG BBSxx change settings on the fly (aka 'cop button') and BBSxx communication protocol

I found the schematics quite confusing, since you can use colors and additional parts in Fritzing. Thanks to the help of @guancio, I finally was able to get the wiring working and made a new wiring diagram. In my case I used Serial1 and Serial2. Fritzing file in attachments. I'm currently working on...

Re: BAFANG BBSxx change settings on the fly (aka 'cop button') and BBSxx communication protocol

Hey! Has anybody brought it to work? I'm stuck and initially planned to use it for my brakelight system. I'm getting "Error 30: Communication fault". Havn't changed the arduino code, beside skipping HC-05 and using "Micro-USB COM Serial", while using Arduinos Serial Monitor. Using an BBSHD, custom p...
