Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

Hello guys. In these days of quarantine I had chance to flash the v.20 with mbrusa overrun fix (for LCD3) The overrun is of course improved with good results, but I experienced a delay in motor kick in while restarting pedaling. I have to do at least a complete pedal turn prior the motor engages. Di...

Casainho, not to add complexity to your current bug-fix task.. but did you see the overrun fix code by mbrusa? He did release the files modifications few days ago..

To date the available code does not include the overrun improvement. It is a porting from the Buba's v.20

Where are the technical details and or source code of that improvement? User mbrusa on the Italian forum is doing some checks before releasing the new version. I asked him to share the code also here to get some feedback. If he decides not to do it.. you may find the code as soon as he release it o...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive and 850C and SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I just ordered a TSDZ2 from PSWPower and i made a mistake. I ordered the XH18 display with no ebrakes. The motor came with a 6-pin connector and i have the cable in the attached picture with a 850C display to get OSF working with brake sensors and temp sensor. Can it be done? Or should i order anot...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Does anyone know where i can buy a 52v battery in the EU? I have TSDZ2 with OSF running 48v and i want to upgrade to 52V and leave the 48V battery for my wife's bike, which will is also getting a TSDZ2 with OSF. Should i upgrade to the 850C? Is it worth the cost? I'm on KT-LCD3 for 1 year and 2000k...

Re: TSDZ2 open source firmware only for KT-LCD3 (v0.19.0 / v.0.20.0beta1)

In the V20 you have to activate the cruise function in the setup screen, I think it’s default is off in the initial setup. Of course it is activated. The relevant submenu 0 has value 1. Do you confirm that after you press DOWN for a second or so your cruise starts working? Yes my cruise works. Beta...

Hello, quick question on v.20 beta1 (buba) + LCD3 display. Is the cruise working on your bike? This is a function I practically never use, but I remember during the debug of buba's alfa versions the cruise was working just pressing the DOWN button while the bike is 10+ km/h, in that case the bike wa...

Re: TSDZ2 open source firmware only for KT-LCD3 (v0.19.0 / v.0.20.0beta1)

Did you see that Ackmaniac did something to take into account the cadence for less overrun Maybe have a look at that and see if its also worth incorporating I similarly modified his fork and was running that as my go-to version for a while and it helped a lot. However, I think I've diagnosed the ov...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

The new firmware with the human and motor watt showed is a cool feature for learning. Thanks @Casainho and co. for all the work done. I calibrated my torque sensor with fw 0.6.2. However I sometime encountered issues while testing with the new calibration enabled (superman watt, and motor behaviour...

Re: TSDZ2 open source firmware only for KT-LCD3 (v0.19.0 / v.0.20.0beta1)

Ciao Andrea and guys. I think this thread should be named "for LCD3" without mention the release 19 or 20beta, because to date we have the .20 as latest stable release (anyone still on v19? Don't think so), but tomorrow it may be v.21. The only true reason we are here on this thread is that we do no...

I don't understand. The latest version is not V19 anymore, is version V53 and is much better. I think V053 is much better than V20. But please make a list, after testing and comparing each feature, give details and prioritize the items on the list, then I can see what I can bring from the V20, if a...

I have learnt that official Tong Sheng torque signal values are 50-105 when viewed using stock firmware on a VLCD5 display. I described how to access the service viewing menu in my previous post. Some are using the original displays (marcoq) and some others the lcd3. But the problem of the drift is physical an...
