They are sensors. It doesn't matter what power the motor is. Most controllers will use 5V or 12V for the input.

follow the wiring diagram above if you're "power switch" you're trying to control power to the controllers. if you're talking about the controller on/off switch, it would be a similar connection, but to the controllers' on/off connectors. good luck.

Inspecting the connectors was how I discovered the problem. Taped them off and lashed them underneath the down tube and the problem went away.

I had the duck noise a couple of times, and luckily it was a loose connector both times.

You didn't mention the current top speed.

Maybe you have a phase wire connector failing and is heating up. Did you inspect them already?
