Re: iCharger 4010 Duo review
I can say Ive used every iCharger made and have been a dealer. The Duo line is great. I used them to charge my stable of Multistar batteries. Sometimes both channels are charging 6s and other times I do 4 and 6s. I have used these chargers at 100% of their capacity and they do it without breaking a ...

Re: Solderless 5S5P pack build with 18650
I have to agree this pack is shady and I think it is on topic to discuss other alternative ways. I trust the the previous posters method more than I trust your. But to each their own if it works for you it works. There is definite room for improvement on you design. I don't think its mechanically so...

I do not recommend Graphene 15C. I got a bad pack but the IR HEAT Generation and cheap construction.. they didnt waste to much money on this cause I have a feeling they probably knew it was up to no good.

Round 2 of Icecube57 HK Lipo Battery Testing (Please Donate)
This is Icecube57 AKA Christofer Parham at Lipo Connection Solutions. Im doing another round of battery testing of some of the HK lipo again. I need help from the community to bankroll this effort. I currently have packs on order. I understand peoples reservation about donating money and such. (2) p...

Re: Turnigy Multistar - lightweight 10C cells
The cell is likely bad. With my testing on the multistars came a point where the cell couldnt sustain a load and give 100% capacity without dipping below 3.5v. Thats where I got the 2.5C from this is the only load that I could draw at for the entire discharge and it not sag like betty white titties....

Re: Turnigy Multistar - lightweight 10C cells
With all hobby king packs if you are going to go down this road you must have a good charger that can discharge and charge fast to weed out bad packs quickly. This must be done as soon as you get them. Ive spent as much as 2 weeks checking packs from hobby king. Expect as much as 10-15% dud rate. Bu...

The 16Ah multistars under a 60A load can maintain a 3.6v or higher for the entire discharge.

Re: Turnigy Multistar - lightweight 10C cells
It seems that the smaller the pack I guess the worst sag there is. If you did 12s 2s 2P. You in theory were barely able to squeak by and stay under the suggested 2.5-3C threshold. I have a friend that was about to buy a crap load of these but in the 4s version. Glad you posted your experience. Typic...

Re: Turnigy Multistar - lightweight 10C cells
Im running 66v 32AH on a Mxus 4T. They are running great. Never need balancing. Always within 0.01v of each other. Excellent performance. I havent did any capacity loss checks lately.. mainly cause Im not pushing them to empty every time because its a huge pack. I charge mine when I need it. Leave i...

Re: Turnigy Multistar - lightweight 10C cells
I charged before rides and left them at a half discharge state. Until used again which could be a day or two or a week later. The loss is quite respectable compared to other cells like zippy 8AH which went from 8 down to 7.2 to 7.5AH after a season

Re: Turnigy Multistar - lightweight 10C cells
After a year on the 10AH packs i saw a 5-8% loss of capacity in the packs. But i was running them in 4P and only using 25-30A on a BBS02

Re: Custom frame build, Help design.
If people are running larger chainring I think there needs to be a cage around the chainring or platform in the triangle so if you use a Triangle bag the bottom of the bag has a little something to rest on. The frame bags tend to sag and droop over time which could put the frame bag and batteries in...

Have routing or compartments for cable and connectors on/in frame. Extreme clamping drop out .. Machine adapter spacer for 135 and 150mm motors. Built in cycle analyst mount or recess in frame.. Add hole for torque sensing bottom bracket Frame needs to easily accomodate up to 60t chain ring. Make su...
