Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I do not think it is possible. The torque sensor must feel a resistance, otherwise there is no torque. On the descent, for example, the engine does not start by turning the pedals ... the wheel does not resist. Ok, thanks. I've tried to 'hold' the chainring but I guess it's not an optimal setup ;) ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hi! I just bought a motor and wonder if I can test the motor's torque sensor without having it mounted on the bike?
Walk assist and throttle works but i cant get the motor running by just winding the crank by hand..

Usually everything is insulated under that panel however you must check the battery power cable -- I suggest you to take out that panel to see by yourself.

Ok, thanks :)
PSW claims that it is normal but I guess its not worth fighting for a return then..

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I just bought my second motor from PSW but there seems to be a loose panel on the drive side where the cables goes. Do I need to worry about water getting in? See video on this link for better understanding: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gf09u4ycKT_6gD4GjJQ2qiKbhWb6NhL4/view?usp=drivesdk https://...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

btw, shouldnt the walk assist work if the controller is the non-coaster version? Because it doesnt... ...As sometimes happens with TongSheng it appears that your controller got flashed with the regular firmware instead of the coaster brake firmware either at the ...factory or later. .

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind ;) Ok, thanks for the clearification. I have the 36V and the coaster firmware would be great! Can I install that with the vlcd-5 or do I need to do the same procedure as for the FOS-firmware? How hard is it to replace the controller? Regards David HI! I have the coaste...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

HI! I have the coaster version of the Tongsheng TSDZ2 and gets a kick from the cranks when releasing torque too fast. It seems that this is because the controller/firmware is for the non-coaster version. Right? What to do? Can I flash the controller to the "coaster-version-firmware" or can I solve i...
