Yes, Mac8T, I certainly don't have miles of climbs, but with 2000W (peak) it goes over 35km/h, I have fun, I had to lower the amps, it was too powerful.

I think that after 3 or 4 unloaded charges it will normalize, if charged up to at least 4v is fine, the difference is minimal.
In my opinion, I wouldn't do anything,
just sometimes the balance.

In my opinion: you should double or triple the parallel, then either fatten the shunt, or better yet buy a programmable controller (24-72v. 40ah).

The problem is, you are accepting numbers from marketing materials that are likely bogus. Reducing weight with **quality** cells - I assume longevity is important to you? means reducing either voltage or Ah range, if you stick to LFP. Otherwise go to the much higher density LI chemistries like NCA ...

I'm looking at these cells: https://m.made-in-china.com/company-lithiumionbattery/ LIFEPo4 cells 21700 3000mah (68g.), to make a package from 48v 27Ah, and that would be about 10 kg. to go lighter than the bigger (26650 85g.). (cells of 18650 with 2,500-3000mah I can't find LIFEPo4). recommendations...
