Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
Hope you guys can help me on this. I have been struggling a couple of days with my motor. After hearing creaking noise (for sure not the pedal or crank) on the drive side I decided to open it and see if I could regrease and at the same time check the bearing condition. The problem is that I couldn't...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5
Hi everyone, Did any of you install the software on the coaster brake version? I installed it a couple of months back to see and the motor was still on half a second after I stopped to pedal. It was quite annoying so I put the original software back... Also I found the motor to be less powerful, it ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
Did some of you install a chainguard with this motor ? (Especially with an internal gear hub). Any recommendations or warnings on compatibility ? I'm about to order one of those : https://www.bike-components.de/en/Hebie/Chainglider-350-Full-Chain-Protection-Front-p29665/ Thanks Yes, the chainglider...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
I need opinion. i have 30km on ODO now and starting to get the feel of the bike. Recently I noticed that when I'm starting by putting pressure on the pedal, there is "notchy" feeling coming from the motor through the cranks. It seems to me like I feel the gears "clicking". It go...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
My motor seems to have developed an issue. During a 30k ride mostly on turbo the motor was performing very well. I kept checking the motor temperature by hand and it barely warmed up. After about 30k, when I left from and standstill the motor made a grinding sound and the power cut. I disconnected ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
Hi, I hope someone can answer my question: Does all Tongsheng TSDZ2 support coaster brakes, or are there differents versions of the motor? (I need coaster brake support.) Thanks in advance! There are 2 different versions. You can buy the coaster brake version it should be stated by your seller.

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
Looking for coaster brake version with max power. i can find version with 36v and 350w wich is good but not enough when non-coaster brake version is everywhere with 48V 15A (750W) and the same price. Maybe i look at the wrong place to buy? (pswpower) Or is there a very good reason why it is not ava...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
Anyone in Europe selling an St link with the cable already soldered ? Or if not selling, lending it for a fee and I'll use it basically just one day to put the original firmware back to my motor as the wrong one is currently on it. (Non coaster brake) Naturally I'll pay the post costs as well via Pa...

I have a coaster brake motor with the wrong firmware installed (mistake by seller after I sent it for rep...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
I used this bearing grease not only for the blue gear but all the gears : Nigrin 74145 Mehrzweckfett, Tube 250 ml https://www.amazon.de/dp/B001BAU3VY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_DeKUCbVW89SX8 I don't think this grease is good for plastic blue gear. This one should be more appropriate https://rover.ebay.co...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
Hey which grease you used for blue gear? Tried to catch original FT-EM50L in europe webshops but no success. Sure you will get if ordered several kilos. Anyone knows where to get small tube? For Bafang gears found some has used Mobilgrease 28. Anyone tried? https://electricbike-blog.com/2015/12/23/...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
Thanks for the info. Depending on the battery voltage - which I assume changes the resonant frequencies - I can feel the motor through my handle bars ... low quality bearings makes some sense to me from a lay perspective. If you turn your noisy bearing by hand, does it feel rough? Also is there a g...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
TongSheng actually puts a "BK" in the controller part number of the coaster brake version of the motor just like they put a "BK" in the part number on the outside of the case. I assume "BK" means "coaster BraKe". The stock firmware is different on the coaster...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
Ok, greetings from Greece! :) I am a happy owner of the TSDZ2 750W too! :D I need some simple advice: What settings should I change to optimize the power and how? My bike is a 700c trekking and i use it to commute. 48V 10,4AH Battery. I do the 30km daily comute and it is almost 50% down. Right now,...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
Has anyone try to use the coaster brake version on a freewheel bike ? I'm planning to buy a hybrid bike with regular derailleur, a Btwin Riverside 120,when my motor is back from repair center. The chain would move backwards ocasionally but that wouldn't be a problem right ? Otherwise is there any wa...

Re: A few Tongsheng TSDZ2 questions
I'm planning to buy a Tongsheng TSDZ2 kit to turn my bike into an e-bike, however, i've a few doubts, hopefully you can help me with that :): 1) From what i've read, in general the blue plastic gear in every TSDZ2 will break and needs to be replaced by a metal one https://nl.aliexpress.com/store/pr...

I'm not sure if TSDZ2 will fit my frame because of the chainstay clearance. At the moment i have 38T (19T at back) with hebie changlider and TSDZ with 42T chainring on the way. Couldn't find gear reduction housing diameter. Any info is welcome. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/x8HLfDdPBaQUuqfegPeB...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"
So that's the noise after 150km assist level 4 on a small hill : https://youtu.be/qsiHfjyiVaE Sounds like a scooter, horrible....
