Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

The linear curve instead of logarithmic make assist very weak at the low cadence and I have to press even harder on the pedals to make my bike moving after the stop. I also experienced an uneven assistance while rotating a pedal, like if I had a oval chain-ring. I think this comes from the fact tha...

I do not want to discuss cruise as it is a different feature, with different objective.
Ok understood just last thing I wanna better understand is why the Cruise mode is removed from the current release ?

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I would much rather prefer to have the Cruise mode from previous versions. In v0.20 it was smooth and safe as well. You are mixing the features/concepts, right? Indeed throttle and cruise are different concepts but both work to achieve the same goal to make or to keep ebike running without pedaling...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Great to have the Torque mode back ! :bigthumb: But in Beta1 seems there is zero threshold for the Torque sensor and the motor starts pulling just with a very soft touch on the pedal or even without touching it just by chaining the pedal position. It would be great to have adjustable threshold. In v...

Many thanks to Casainho and all other contributors. :bigthumb: But let me also say that Power Assist based on Cadence and Torque is not for me the best option for the MTB trails with qui...

Beta1 I found backward resistance that kicks in when moving bike faster backwards. At low speed there is no any resistance. Also had feeling that motor stops much quicker than on alfa UPDATE: today did another ride without any backward resistance.. this could be very uniq case or upcoming HW issue..?

Note that converter must be 3.3V. With bootloader box the 3.3V pin is not used. The UART chip is powered via the main source of power 27V or more. In the case of flashing firmware on the TSDZ2, users report errors and the solution is to use very short cables... Maybe you can try another converter. ...

Call me impatient but what is the ETA for the official 0.20 Beta ?
Correct me if I am wrong but this is important milestone for Qmarco to start working on his implementation for original displays and as well for Casainho to start with 850C/SW102 firmware versions for 0.20..
