tired of your alta?
ALTA is a respectable company, but unfortunately they have closed. SUR-RON will seriously
design and produce quality electric bike at different sizes and power levels in the future.

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

They have a new version of the Sur-Ron coming out? Hopefully they get rid of the 26" fork and build it around a 27.5"fork. Maybe design the swingarm to fit a belt drive without cutting anything. Other than that it will be interesting what they update from the old Sur-Ron. I personally have no issue...

Well this rear mudguard didn't last long. It broke off at 70km/h.. It wasn't a pleasant experience.

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Took my bike into Manhattan for the first time. I was worried about bringing this beast of a bike on my local ferry boat that I need to take in order to get into Manhattan. They do allow bikes and electric bikes, but the Sur-Ron is more like a motorcycle than an electric bicycle. Luckily they didn'...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

I think we should start a motorcycle gang, I mean club, for Sur-ron owners. I wonder what a large swarm of Light Bees would sound like taking off all at the same time? killer beez jacket2a.jpg :bigthumb: agree completely If there is a SUR-RON owner club in North America, or in Europe, it is a very ...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

jarik, I believe not many people are having any issues because the bike is built well including the electronics and also because of the fact that the power is so limited on the bike. I know of one other person who mentioned his bike seemed to get stuck in eco mode and he thought it was because of h...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Holes seem to help. And new brake pads are wonderful. I torture tested them on a serious downhill street today. It made the disk turn a little purple but still able to stop nicely at the bottom of the hill. With the stock pads, I was dragging my feet to slow down. Img_1164A.jpg Well done, I think t...
