Re: Ebike safety kill switch

Funny Now I am wondering... -Are you a thief too stupid to start the bike? -Are you a legitimate owner who can’t read the manual. -Are you affected with Alzheimer disease? -Are you a woman? Sorry, I had to ask. I suspect you make your comments as some sort of a joke but I suggest you get ...

Re: Your Creation's Before & After Pics

Out of interest would adding an annalogger be the way to look at all the signals to diagnose the issue. I find mine varies the output when pedalling at a constant speed and effort. You can be going along at 300W and then suddenly up to 900W and then back again and i cant quite diagnose what the caus...

Re: Your Creation's Before & After Pics

Very cool Morganw. Nice build. Nice one. I found that having access to the higher gears was not necessary on my build once you have power assisting you. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=100917. In fact i lost the front gear selector and only use the bigger chainring. So the bot...

Specialized Tricross with Grin Bits & EM3EV Battery

Probably not so much a creation and a kit build.. Having had a go at the brompton folding bike kit I was so impressed I set about my TriCross that I had in London for commuting from the station. Here is is when it was new eight years ago in the first pic. Having I went with similar parts to the brom...

Grin Brompton Kit

After looking at all of the options available here in the UK and stumbling across this forum, it was clear that the Grin solution was the one for me. Primarily because they are so open about what goes into their products and provide all the test information. If you look at other kits available they ...

Re: Ebike Hub Motor overheating cooling solution - HUBSINK OFFICIAL THREAD

I have a Crystalyte H3525 UFO and a heatsink set. Noting that Grin talk about installing thermal pads to make up the diameter so the heatsink fits, does anyone have a recommendation for the spec of the pads?

Thanks

Re: Seeking motor and controller advice on 1-1.5kw folding bike build

If you still have problems I can recommend the SAW20 that comes with the brompton kit that they do. I have only 30 miles on mine but it is very impressive. 25mph no problem apart from shaking everything else on the bike off....

Brompoton Torque Sensor protector

Having just installed Grin's kit on my brompton (brilliant - but more on that later) however you do it the bottom bracket torque sensor wire is going to be rubbed by the rear wheel when folded. so here is a link to the 3d printed cover I made in case anyone needs to print one. https://cdn.thingivers...

Re: BBSHD mounting questions

Thanks , so if there is a small offset it should be able to be taken up with the standard BBSHD. Does anyone know what the MAXIMUM offset the 73mm unit allows? I am about to try to convert my specialized stumpjumper and will do a careful measure before ordering. Likewise battery position will be a c...
