Chalo is an acquired taste but ET was poison.
I am in Texas and some drivers are bad and if you run over a bike or walker not being drunk your free to go.

Re: C Cab Hot Rod Power Advice

The idea of large rotors is not just stopping power but more about getting rid of heat. If you do not have regen and use the brakes a lot in a heavy EV you will make a lot of heat and ware out and/or warp the disc/rotor. My regen is more about stopping the watts recovered is a bonus. so I have never...

Re: Wondering about potential of plywood velomobile

Like the looks! Wood is great for the home Hobbyist and heavy. Like the idea of velomobile but it is hot most of the year so fully enclosed is not ideal. Would like to keep the rain off, some aerodynamics. Like the design, keep doing the good work.

 "John in CR" you only upset them. I don't do this anymore but my slow Nissan Leaf will leave any street ICE car or truck at the stop light and up to the speed limit. Used to do it to those that would act like they had something hot. It's really hard on my narrow tires. My mother drives the car...

Re: Which hybrid electric car will be yours in the future?

I bought a 2013 leaf 24k battery pack, just love it but would swap for a newer one, bigger battery. Now 100 mile range is good for me. Charging to 80% and don't drive below 20% is really less than 60 miles which I get on with but most would not in a big city. Buying a hybrid? Thought about it in the...

Re: la Nina rears her ugly head

Amberwolf your city has no storm drainage  We hit the lower 80's couple of days ago is this not Feb. Our weather is more like May, above average temps for a few days then back to normal temp for a day or two. One thing we are short on is water in the ground, we get a rain but it is more like ...

Re: Wind and Solar vs Coal, Gasoline, Nuclear

I have been alarmed but the last number 412 ppm for carbon dioxide enables me to see the end of the human race as we know it. Our bodies will not be able to deal with the heat. Don't even care about the naysayers anymore, just does not matter anymore. The last documentary and the data of our increas...

Re: Eggrider over 60v

I fear will will spend more money on that approach. If you look at the specs on 72V controllers they handle more battery amps and put out more phase amps to get more out of your motor and support lower voltage 60, 52, 48 and maybe 36 volts. If you just want more torque and not just speed a bigger co...

Just_Ed » Jan 29 2020 11:21am Good Morning Everyone. I worked on this subject, late into the night, yet again. Because of the importance of this matter, I MUST learn ...'WHY'..., in some cases it works, and in other cases, it won't. I remember in the beginning (before dirt) struggled with the amp i...

Here we ended the year in drought conditions and still dryer than normal with promise of rain on the way. Not one freeze for the month of January will be a record for us.

I live in Texas everyone needs to buy our Natural gas a lot cleaner than Coal that we do not sell. Fear of running out are you kidding, if people would just to bed at night we could cut the power use in half. What do you think?

lol yes, can not put a price on the good feelings. I remember $5 gas 13 yrs ago and feeling helpless. Like the idea of solar charging my trike, this Winter have charged from the grid three times so far but use all the electric that my panels make. Just need more panels. Wish I could store it up and ...

Re: Ebike anti-theft, GPS and motion alarms, suggestions?

On my trike would prefer to have it under it's own power and hidden. bet they would pull my 72v 25ah battery first. The worst thing about my trike is my fear to leave it alone and I want to start using it for store runs more often but my fear stops me. I will follow this thread and see what everyone...

My solar panels are 10 yrs old, was going to add more last summer but during the long days and tracking (moved by had several times a day) the sun make all the E-Trike gas I needed. But making a (detachable) canopy for my trike out of a flex panel dual purpose manly for the shade, why not capture so...

Re: E-Trike conversion & ride Video. 100% solar charged.

Summer I use 100% solar for my trike. only have 3x15w = 45 watt panel 20-30 watts. Have the panels in series connected to a buck charger for my 20s7p but in the summer it is enough for the way I ride. have two batteries and swap them. Winter is different need more panels. cloudy-rainy short days has...
