by amberwolf » Feb 09 2021 12:38am If the axle nut came off during regen, then it was already very loose, ready to fall off. This usually means, assuming it was tightened enough to start with, that the axle is rocking back and forth in the dropouts, even just a tiny bit, which eventually works the ...

Re: Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike high efficiency 1500w motor
Going out on a limb here. All are FOC that I have looked at . Phaserunner is from the ASI 800, that should cover a lot if not most E-bikes. Only reason for me wanting ASI 2000 is not running to the limits of the controller. At the moment with my single batter limited to 36 amps (not peak) as not to ...

by john61ct » Jan 16 2021 1:22am I've read phase current max is 90A? Admittedly I've kept my focus more on low speed torque rather than acceleration over say 20mph so believe I need the higher amp versions of the ASI units that the PhaseRunner is based on. Lately the ASI 2000 has been looking good ...

Re: Leaf / leafmotor / leafbike high efficiency 1500w motor
Did some thinking on my setup. On the gear/cassette side have one washer between the jam nut and drop out/frame. Then added a shim to move the cassette away from the frame so chain would not rub, the shim's diameter had to be reduced enought so the chain would not ride on it. Did this by hand trial ...

If this is being done for a home look at water systems for them zero energy homes. They use plants, rocks, sand then thru filters and last a UV light.

Think of peddling a bike, you don't push the peddle down and hold it there. Timing is used, you push close to dead center then let off and around we go.

An acceleration spread sheet was posted in the last week in another thread, downloaded it, played with my trikes settings. Plugged in different windings and wheel sizes. Was quite surprised in the findings. Lower turn count and smaller wheel does not always equal more acceleration, top speed yes. Go...

Water distillation is the best and most energy intensive. Personality would think of filters and UV light to get around the tablets first, would make more water. Interesting project none the less.

The scenario-based analysis shows that cobalt is likely to become scarce and expensive, as the cobalt reserves identified today will not be sufficient for the presumed increase in demand. This is also supported by the fact that prices already increased by more than 120% in one year in 2016/17. In c...
