xEuirdkNSxw https://electrek.co/2019/06/03/lift-efoil-electric-hydrofoil-surf-board/ The hand controller uses Bluetooth connectivity and is submersible, though it also floats in case it is dropped. The screen is easy to read, even while flying across the water surface. It features a power governor ...

One more comment:
The controller on the M3 uses ceramic, not silicon.

Some more information here:

Re: Tesla patents techniques for improving motor power by changing the shape of some components

Some great information about Tesla motor technology is in this video, starting at about 45 minutes some interesting comments on solid state batteries by sandy Monroe (he has seen prototypes) motor technology starts about 48 minutes introduced by talking about patents:

https://www.teslarati.com/tesla-patent-more-efficient-electric-motors/ Brief excerpt below: Tesla has invented a technique for increasing its All-electric vehicles’ power and torque by simply adjusting the shape some of its electric motor’s components. Re: Elephant in the room - Quadcopters...

Edit - I assumed you were talking human-size quadcopters. RC scale has been done 1000 times by now, even open source projects with hardware available. That doesn't keep me from wanting one, of course. I have a thermal camera that would be awesome to get airborne, but is outside the payload of most ...

Tilting 3 wheeler. IMO Zero should license this technology and make it available on every zero model.

Tesla cell torture tests

Posted on a private Tesla forum : I've dragged Model S cells to 0.00v and clamped them like that in a dead short for a week, then removed the short and very slowly and very carefully, under supervision, recharged to 4.20v w/ 50mA cut, then ran another 1A discharge (0.33C) to 3.2v cut. Cell capacity ...

Interesting leaning 4 wheeler. Re: Clip - improved 3D printing technology?

If 3d printing was 100 times faster the machines would probably be a lot more expensive and we would have the current situation compounded where there are relatively few badass machines (metal, other advanced materials) because they cost a fortune. For doing plastics it would be nice but there are ...

Re: Very enthusiastic review of the mahindra genze 2 electric scooter

Hard to post additional text on my iPad. With a top speed of 30 mph (48 km/h) and a range of around 28-34 miles (48-54 km), I was excited, but wasn’t expecting to be blown away. But as it turned out, I was blown away. Big time..... To put it simply, the GenZe 2.0 electric scooter has been a game cha...

Re: Chevy Volt Pack Info - Salvage 16kwh Packs Under $2k

Well, with the right tools, you can take out the cells "as welded" in 3P 1S. It is actually easier than taking out the individual cells and safer. Weight per cell is 1153.0g / 3 with the copper tab left on. There is room to separate the plates for air cooling. http://www.diyelectriccar.com/forums/a...

Re: Tesla acquires maxwell - why Luk

I believe most customers would rather have a smaller, lighter, and less expensive battery...rather than more range. It's possible that a small improvement in regen capture could help to provide high performance from a smaller battery pack, since the first two seconds of acceleration draw more amps ...

Re: Tesla acquires maxwell - why Luke?

HIs take on the ultra caps: Some people are wondering if the ultra cap part of Maxwell is of use to Tesla, especially since Maxwell recently inked a supply agreement to Geely for their hybrid cars. Ultra caps ARE useful for hybrids that have small (or non-existent) batteries. They are used to store ...
