Re: Ebike Hub Motor overheating cooling solution - HUBSINK OFFICIAL THREAD

Those of you with the hubsinks, are you tightening the nuts and bolts all the way down? Just installed mine and still have a gap inbetween each hubsink....it seems not necessary to do so, seems secure at that

Re: Vector bike and frame owners.

I just flipped my bracket and all I gotta say my ES peeps is that I should have flipped it a long time ago. There was a considerable drop but it was well worth it, as it brought the center of gravity lower and I can get on the bike easier. I did had to lower the crown on the fork to bring the front ...

Re: Vector bike and frame owners.

This able to be flipped to lower the suspension? Also the DNM forks are they fixed at a set air pressure, or able to vary the air pressure to push the handle bars higher from the ground? Problem is my butt slides forward at low speed. Taken this Sunday, glad I stopped traffic police were sitting in...

Re: Sabvoton SVMC072150 controller review, variable regen *PICS*

So the black on the high speed low speed dongle needs to be connected directly to the negative on the 72v battery? If anyone has their high speed low speed connected and working please let me know how you did it No. Find a 3 speed ebike switch that has a 3 prong connector that the plug on the Sabvo...

Rim width question for high power EEB

I ride mostly on the street/roads with a QS 205. Both rims are 19" x 1.85" with the same type of tire.
Is anyone running a 1.6" on the front with a 1.85" on the rear with the same type of tires on both rims? Im just wondering if theres any noticable difference.

Re: Sabvoton SVMC072150 controller review, variable regen *PICS*

low and high seed connector coming out of controller has three wires. See pic. You install switch or button and connect one or another pair of wires. I think... how else it could be... What you call e-lock is called ignition noways? If that's true in your case than you can use 72v. Some old manual ...

Re: Sabvoton

Try the following: 1) Reset the BMS to your battery by charging it for 10 or so seconds through the charge port or also try tbrough the main leads of your battery. See if that works. 2) Another thing you might want to try is to count the number of flashes for the error code. 3) Yet another thing you...

Right now trying to dial in HSC/LSC and rebound. Big gains 10x better, no 15x better than what I had before. Increased control and stability. :bigthumb:

Re: High powered Ebikes high speed suspension setup

I installed the lighter spring, and set the sag. I'm not "dialed" in yet, as I'm playing around with the external adjustments but the bike feels so much better, like riding on a cushion. Setting the sag has been very important. :bigthumb:

Re: High powered Ebikes high speed suspension setup

Start by installing the lighter spring. Then set your sag front and rear. Do not skip this part, it is crucial. Then you can follow the manufacturer's recommended damping settings for your fork and shock. In general it's better to have as little damping as you can get away with. If the bike is too ...

Those of you with these types of ebikes: Stealth, Enduro, etc. what is your suspension setup for riding on the streets at higher speeds? I'm trying to "dial in" to maintain control and stability. Re: Another "stealth bomber" build.

I like the width of the tire, but it is more like a moped tire with coarser pattern. It doesn't have the side protection of a real dirt bike tire. It is also very soft, so I guess we will see how long it will last. https://i.imgur.com/TwuEvZ4l.jpg I took the bike out for a ride, and this is what it...

Re: MXUS 3K & 72 volts... OK with Phaserunner?

For the time being I'm inclined to stick with the Phaserunner and take it easy with the amps. For your setup (trike) w/ motor on a moped rim, PR is going to under-perform up hills and acceleration. Get a more powerful controller and call it a day. Yeah it looks cool and is tiny, buy you're going to...

www.cnqsmotor.com is a manufacturer as they claim on their website if you scroll to the bottom of that page of the link. Controller is under warranty for a year and they also sell Kelly Controllers. My Sabovton works fine. I bought it straight from them not off of who knows could it be selling on Am...

Re: MXUS 3K & 72 volts... OK with Phaserunner?

Get a Sabvoton. First I had the Phaserunner and then a Sabvoton 72150 for my other bike. Even with settings maxxed out on the PR, acceleration and going up his is slower on my lighter bike. There are two settings you should be aware of: PHASE AMPS and BATTERY AMPS. The PR's max settings for both Pha...

Re: Anybody running more than 150 PSI in DNM USD 8S Fork?

I think when I change to stiffer springs that it will solve the problem. I have a heavy battery and even with pre-load maxxed out, it's still not plush. My riding is mainly for the street, maybe different from what Emmett was doing.
