Re: Nine Continent Disk Motors

Hey Justin any thoughts on selling bored out covers so users of the old style 9cs can use disk brakes?I have a 6x10 and a 2806 that I would love to get working with rear brakes again.

Thanks

Hey dogman I have run my 6x10 at 98 volts/75amps with lipos and it stayed surprisingly cool so you should be fine with 72 volts

Re: 50cc auto scooter conversion to electric (BUILD THREAD)

Yes electric motors can be run without a gearbox BUT if you use a gearbox you will have better acceleration and good top speed-otherwise you have to gear it for one or the other. You do not need a 6 speed gearbox like ICE but a 3 or 4 speed gearbox will go a long way.I am really surprised that all th...

Re: Xlyte 5304 with 20" rim or 24" rim

+1000 on recommending Ypedal's rims.I have 2 pairs and they work great-even with regular 2.35 bmx tires. And yeah I figured with his battery setup that he would not be pedaling but I thought I should tell him anyway

Re: Xlyte 5304 with 20" rim or 24" rim

Depends if you are looking for a pedal assist kind of ride or a motorcycle kind of ride. What I mean is the 24" wheel will be able to pedal easier than the 20".But I think you will be happier with a 20" if you are always on the throttle rather than pedaling.20" will steer quicker as well.So its up to...
