Re: Dual battery system Li-ion & LeadAcid powering house

As for your legal disclaimer I have also tried to address that possibility too, I have installed in each battery box a fire suppression ball thing. Its ment to explode when either too hot or any flames and completely smother a 2sqm area in a powder to extinguish any fire. There is not much space in ...

Re: Dual battery system Li-ion & LeadAcid powering house

Yes that was the plan for the PW2 to not get up to max voltage (54.2v) hence why I increased it to be a 13s battery. If was a normal 12s battery then the lead acid ones not be able to get fully charged and I know that's not a good thing. I have an ant bms fitted to the PW2 that can be seen in the pi...

Re: Dual battery system Li-ion & LeadAcid powering house

So im right in theory then, I can hook them together providing they each have their own charge capability's that's great, its quite confusing when some sources say yes its possible yet others tell you no its defiantly not. The 2x inverters are paired together (one master and 1 slave) with an add on ...

Re: Looking into small DIY wind turbines.

Hi, I have mainly solar setup but mucked around a little with few turbines. They are ok as little bit extra but never going to put out sorta power get from solar unless you live in a constant tornado or something. I live in Australia and don't have exceptionally high wind like right off the coast or...

Dual battery system Li-ion & LeadAcid powering house

Hi all, I currently run my house on 48v battery system (lead acid) and recently got hold of a damaged Tesla PW2. I have repaired the PW2 and modified it to be a 13s config rather than the original 12s it came out the factory with. Its inverter has been completely removed so because of that its essen...

Re: Power Spikes - Modifying Ninebot Controller

For any 1 interested almost up and running with the new version of the Ninebot Max that I guess could more realistically call a 16bot now due to its new power setup. I wouldnt be supprised if this 1 of the more extreme ones out there as its had a few modifications but from outside cant really tell i...

I decided to give up on that idea coz it would have been a waste to hack the bike up so I sold it complete. this the bike I was refering too. would have been cool bike but not real practical to do when its all carbon fibre

Re: Power Spikes - Modifying Ninebot Controller

Well I've convinced the owner of scooter that it's too much trouble playing with these toy ninebot controllers so we headed down a different path now. The hole design of battery controller needs to fit into original under feet compartment and have managed to go from 36v battery 10x4 config to 16x6 c...

Are you sure this motor you're talking about is actually a Bosch motor because I've seen quite a few copies come from over there and I haven't seen any convincing info that says that motor is actually produced by Bosch if you could point me in the direction of some info that's not in Chinese it migh...

Tesla powerwall 2 cells

I'm currently debating what to do with a powerwall 2 I brought. Does any1 know if can be used as a battery just as is without being hooked to a gateway as I don't have that part? My house currently runs off lead acid batteries but would be good to use as is and not sacrifice to get cells from. I als...

Re: Bad hall sensor and throttle voltages

Hi Guys, Im having a very similar issue atm but it is only in the low voltage state when throttle is plugged into controller. This is on a 3000w brushless motor https://www.qsmotor.com/product/3000w-mid-drive-motor/ if nothing plugged into controller then 5v shows normal but as soon as plug into it ...
