Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

It has been a while since I have been here. I have now done around 1300km using the OSF with VLCD 5 on my Cannondale Scalpel and overall it is very good. I bought a Cube Reaction Pro with Bosch motor for my wife recently but she prefers my bike :-) . With the firmware, power level 3 (emtb) does not...

Re: New

Why not developing a 3D print base for battery pack that can be easily attached to bike frames and make a battery quick and easily removable? I am not a mechanic but I think could be possible and would bring a lot of value. I have 4 TSDZ2 ebikes and recently I did a trip of 5 days with family and f...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

The bulge at the front of the top tube looks like it was made for the battery. It looks nice and organic. I think you were lucky to get it in there at all. I suppose you just charge it on the bike? Yes, I charge the battery on the bike, too much work to unscrew the clamps everytime it needs juice.

Finished today my new build, it´s a Mondraker Foxy R 2010, size L https://i.ibb.co/0cpvcFB/20200612-182700.jpg Battery is super tight to fit inside the frame, have to remove the base and cut a litle bit in the front of the battery and sealed it with black silicone. https://i.ibb.co/hm5q8Tz/20200612-...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

Here is the "fix overrun" update in the TSDZ2-mb.20beta1.A version, for the original displays. The files to be replaced are 3, ebike_app.c, motor.c, motor.h I had not considered the riding modes with stationary pedals, which consequently do not work. Now "fix overrun" is disabled in WALK ASSIST, CR...

Does it still work with fix overrun?
Walk assist isn't working with VLCD6.
Thanks for your work, the motor is running super smooth!

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

Battery cut off should be something around 41V. If you don't have brake sensors, it's not recommended to activate assist without pedaling. Motor acceleration should be 35% with 48v motor and battery. Elinx posted a google translated manual some pages back, it is wise to read it before installing the...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5

You should backup your stock firmware before flashing anything.
If for some reason you don't have a backup, this tutorial has links for all the stock firmware files https://www.eco-ebike.com/blogs/eco-cyc ... rogramming

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5

Installed this firmware and a temperature sensor, it is running fine except when I stop pedaling the motor takes mutch time to stop compared to stock firmware, this is grinding my gears and lost the natural feeling. there is any option on the java configuration to make motor stop faster? Already so...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5

You can't use the temperature sensor with stock firmware. Only the Open source firmware can handle this protection. Actually i think i can, with this temperature controller conected to brake sensor wire https://www.ebay.com/itm/323263962394 I know that´s not a optimal solution because it can´t redu...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5

... It's Marcoq 0.19C with this configuration. Tomorrow I will test Ackmaniacs firmware .. Thanks for mentioning. Have you tried to lower the value of PWM Duty Cycle Ramp Dw ? These PWM values are for saving the blue gear with start/stop the motor. So realize what you are doing with lowering these ...
