Re: BMS broken, damaged cells, or both?

Thank you my friend, I am going to watch the video, and afterwards I am going to conquer my fear and measure each indivual cel :-) First I need to watch the video, after about "4 little bad luck moments" with batteries. Some good preparation, as in not drinking several pints of larger before doing t...

Re: Problem with throttle input signal

Hi.. I think the red wire you are trying to connect, is not the throttle input wire.. Black is ground, red is 5v voltage supply. The other one, most of the time it is green, is the input signal wire. That one is never 5.05v, not very likely. You are mistaking the wires, like I did many many times in...

Re: Battery & BMS Wiring Help

I think when you have a bluetooth BMS, you can set the battery On and Off by an app on your phone. So first shut the battery down, then connect your controller to your battery... No spark, I guess! Ps: I love your soldering, it could have been me who made that! Except for me... I use about twice the...

Re: BMS broken, damaged cells, or both?

Hi Leffex,

With this low voltages of my pack.. Except for the bms, do you think any of the batteries still can be used, or should I consider it as total loss?

Re: BMS broken, damaged cells, or both?

Hey guys, The results of me measuring voltage of the battery pack, drop a bomb on further continuety of my scooter project, I am afraid. It is just 1 more financial setback too many. In this picture, the iron connection part on top is a little loose, when I press it, I can see it touch and untouch. Could that.. Be.. The.. Reason?

EDIT: More pics of other side of the Pack.

Re: BMS broken, damaged cells, or both?

Ok, I did it, conquered my fear and cut her belly open. Panasonic batteries, very bad buy till now. I Measured voltage at the connectors, 2 connectors, because 2 controllers, and they both gave 32v.. Should be 64v! Exactly half.. So I was thinking, and this nightly 'thinking' has cost me quite some ...

Re: BMS broken, damaged cells, or both?

So far, I am regaining trust in the halfcyear old 42Ah PowerPack. I fully charged it last night, not use it today, only 0.1 or, maybe 0.2v fallback since yesterday.. Today I took it for a spin for about 45min. Tried a bit how all new gear reacts. During my testride 14 headlights were burning(See pic...

Re: BMS broken, damaged cells, or both?

Haha thank you, Zippy :) I think you mean with pins of voltmeter in the white connector.. I have done that...

Re: BMS broken, damaged cells, or both?

Oww now I see your question haha The outside of the steel box is ice cold, not warm at all.. With previous bms it did get hot, now with new bms it doesn't warm up at all! So I guess that is positive sign?
