Hi Naeem,

Another old mechanic trick for washing greasy hand is using dishwashing soap with sugar  . Mix the two with small amount of water and work it in the hand. More friendly than using petrol if glove not available.

This salt immersion resistor idea. Perhaps lead plates recycled from batteries might resist corrosion, or stainless steel plates flattened out from old cookware. Myself, I'm working on a mechanical PWM controller using copper pipe, a toy electric motor and bits & pieces out of a dead power tool. Re...

Hi Naeem,

Nicely done front suspension, just a thought, you can fashion an old bike inner tube as a dust boot between travel and also to prevent water entering the inside springs.

Re: 40 year old factory Electric Trike-Original

Trappermike, can you take pics of the trike?

I can only guess myself what it got for a motor and control.
When I used to work in the marine autopilot industry, I see some shunt field motor being used from that era. My guess is it's a 24v shunt field motor not a permanent magnet.

Hi Naeem, If you move the key switch to this new location see diagram, then you can ignore the pin 4 mod on the 555 timer. Just do the Capacitor mod instead. Re: Please HELP with identifying Mobility Scooter Parts??

Hi Gordo, You can buy a cheap controller for it and that can be turn into an upright scooter, with the third wheel at the back for steering or two wheels at the back close together for better stability. some thing like this but i think this has two hubs and use it for differential steering http://ww...
