Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Alrighty, finally i installed the newest firmware 1.1.0 to my mothers bike. thanks for the implementation of the sw102 display. Allthough the whole system crashes if entering the last two menu config options the display works fine. But i wonder in which funny world this firmware is an improvement c...

Re: TSDZ2 open source firmware only for KT-LCD3 (v0.19.0 / v.0.20.0beta1)

Hi All. My old faithful LCD3 with V20 has died. I have had a dead short between the batt pin and the next pin beside it on an 8 pin connector, it was a dead short and has blown the pin off of the female 8 connector Batt voltage pin and fried the male connector at that point. Now I had been riding i...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I'm thinking of building a 48v coaster brake motor (they only supply a 36v) by using a normal 48v and locking by some means or other the sprague clutch. That should work? The normal motors use helical teeth in the main gear and reduction. The coaster brake motors use straight cut. So keep that in m...

Re: TSDZ2 open source firmware only for KT-LCD3 (v0.19.0 / v.0.20.0beta1)

When you stop forward motion to pull back and apply the coaster brake there is high resistance, you need to move forward 1" then back again and the resistance is gone, it's the same with version 1, Buba fixed it in version 20. In our application where we have use of hands and feet although wit...

TSDZ2 Fluid Cooling I’ve been working with this all summer. With several different leaks , different pumps, different tubing, different fluid routing, different fluids, and other difficulties. I finally have a fluid made to fill-up brushless Motors and it is working the way I wanted to from the sta...

Re: Hardware temperature control tsdz2

TSDZ2 Fluid Cooling Timing. Literally been researching pc liquid cooling style methods of cooling. I was thinking of 3d printing a water jacket with a thermally conductive filament. How are you running the coolant around inside? My brain hurts just trying to work out which way up the bike is in the...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hi, I am Tom and new in this forum. I recently bought the tsdz2 48V 500W motor and installed it to a full suspension mountainbike. I really like the torque sensing and the small form factor. However I do like to have a higher cadence. The motor can do 4000 rpm which is about 90 rpm at the cranks. B...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I am trying to find a way to offer the fluid in small quantities. It only comes in large amounts enough to do 8 external systems with the smallest available amount, and it is not cheap. Why not use thin oil? Available everywhere in small amounts. You can try any oil out there, I wanted fluid that w...

niceee, I think for mtb the internal one would be cool  the external would brake fast Just some questions? Re: TSDZ2 open source firmware only for KT-LCD3 (v0.19.0 / v.0.20.0beta1)

Version 19 is an older version that some people still like, but will never be improved, it does not work with coaster brake motors. Which bit of v19.0 doesn’t work with a coaster brake? It certainly does do the job. When you stop forward motion to pull back and apply the coaster brake there is high...
