Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

So yesterday I flashed my VLCD5 with the latest firmware. I really like the java configurator it's a one-stop-shop, no text files needed as was the last time I flashed it. I have an older 6 pin VLCD5 and it worked fine the last time I flashed it. But this time the screen display goes out but the mot...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hi from Australia, haven't posted for a long time, but still into electric bikes, & my original cheap eBay direct drive hub bike has been improved over the years, & is still going strong. Now for my latest project. I ordered a TSDZ2 kit, months ago just before the Covid 19 restrictions kicked in. &...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

Yes, you have to unzip the latest version and then you can launch the configurator with the command line java -jar JavaConfigurator.jar and it will create the config.h under the subdirectory src/controller by clicking on "Compiling and Flash" button. It will work also on OS/X and Linux........... T...

TSDZ2 Parameter Configurator 2.0 OSF mb.20beta1.B Where do I find this ..... I think you mean the configuration manual for the Java configurator. You find the manuals on mbrusa's github repo , together with the OSF and the configurator. There are three manuals, in two languages (EN-IT), for mb.20be...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

TSDZ2 Parameter Configurator 2.0 OSF mb.20beta1.B
Where do I find this so I can fill in all the boxes the way I want and then have someone flash it for me?
Is there anything else that needs to be filled out so that when I go to get it flashed it's all ready to go?
THANKS

Nobody must use all 20 levels! You are free to change only 3 or 5 or 10. I can't understand why we should change this! Casainho has declared in a earlier post why he want this! No problem with that, even if I'm not aware of the reason why those 20 levels could be necessary. But again from an UX poi...

Thanks guys for your advice. Can anybody say me there is a difference between kt lcd3 and kt lcd8 regarding to replace the kt lcd3 with a kt lcd8 ? So something didn't work well and I thought to change the controller and the display with a Kt lcd 8. So is the same procedure to flash the Tsdz2 with ...

Interesting ! About motor cooling : I have filled up entirely one of my TSDZ2 with car engine oil for experience purpose It runs well and much quieter, even if I have a brass gear ! The oil plays both the role of coolant and lubricant There's a small leak on the right side of the motor but this is ...

Hello , Sorry I quite new here, maybe I didn't post where it should be. Please do not post on this thread - I think the title is clear on this. Post instead on the specific thread for the outdated firmware version with KT-LCD3. Perhaps we need this thread title changed to 'latest Casainho code only...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

@ilu - I misunderstood what was going on here. In my mind the crack spider was connected to the crank arm, but that's not the case. When I tested for lateral movement I was pushing on the crank (which is solid), but the spider does have play in it. Eg: https://www.darkerside.org/wp-content/uploads/...

With the first version released, walk assist was not working, then I had made updates.
Try this which is the latest versionTSDZ2-v0.20.1-update_fix_overrun-LCD3_version.zip.
mbrusa,
Is this the same version you improved for me and I'm using?
I'm very happy with it!

Bad luck your son's tire puncture. I had the 860C in use for the first time today. It is much better than the 850C. It is more adjustable, it’s style is modern and is better in the sun. I'm grateful that casainho chose too support the 860C, it is much better than the 850C and I will be trying it in...

One question, pulling back on the cranks as the system boots up, when they release, does the bike not start alone without pedaling? No, the bike doesn't start on its own, it starts just the same as if I hadn't pulled back when we boot the system. The difference is once you start to move it's a lot s...

Value without pulling back the cranks. The ADC with no load on the cranks is 130. Pulling back with both arms and 1...
