Re: BBS02 Improving Heat Dissipation

Well, I don't quite understand everything, but I believe that I limit the power whenever required during every ride as I select the PAS level, (1 ) - (9) OK if you settle for less voltage power and capability than you paid for, it's up to you. I bought the unit to save space, avoid interferences, ch...

Argo, Sincerely, why reinvent the wheel? OK if that's what you want to do of course it's fine. Consider, You need max torque, and can always take it easy. Maybe when you are happily tired some day: You might just want to motor up a mountain on the way home 'just because'. It's later than you think, ...

Yes, fun. :D
Why not 'just' fly a sailplane twice today and you'll be completely "immersed" piloting the aircraft.
Good Luck

I see from the pictures of the solar cruising yacht my rough guess of a 4' prop was about right. The surface piercing props are the 'racer's edge' winning at super speed or slow motion. Anything But Sails I learned, ( spending time & $,$$$ ), that wind does not blow hard to push any vesse...

Good luck Troubleshooter !

I will guess that nice looking prominent lighted (?) " button " On/Off Switch maybe failed.

Because it's in a vulnerable location for any moisture, even a wet finger, and switches can be failure prone , or 'short lived'.

+$1B invested: Archer Aviation. So what?

Maybe ~ 1/20th of the required cost to design, develop, validate, and certify a new aircraft.

Re: jet boat conversion

Why? Jet pump propulsion is terribly inefficient compared to the ancient propeller. Your big pump can work on the most powerful engines, and is used for optimal swimmer / skier safety ( enclosed ) You can setup a boat with electric power and relax, or if you want speed good luck. My friendly suggestion
Buy an electric outboard, mount it on a comfortable boat ( with thwarts ).
Enjoy yourself, recharge, repeat.
