Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hi all, Managed to clean it all out again and am now back to the blue plastic cog. It seemed to last me much longer, it's lighter, cheaper, quieter and won't scatter metal shards throughout your motor. Lesson learned here! Hope this helps others. Cheers What grease did you use for the new blue gear...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Since I installed that firmware (latest stable) there is a very annoying problem : the motors cuts off on bumps and shocks. Probably you need to disable the fast cadence stop configuration. Please report if that solved or not your issue. I had this issue, disabling the fast cadence stop worked for ...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I have checked the configuration according ti instruction. The only thing works is walk mode. Have flash the latest version alpha.4, it didn’t make different, virtual throttle doesn’t work. Tried stock firmware, no pedal assist again but throttle works. I can’t use throttle with OSF as I used the w...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I have no experience with 36V but I read all messages here and I would say the only disadvantage of 36V is that probably 36V motor will heat faster. I can't say why, no one yet we're able to justify this. It seems that the different voltage versions of the motor use the same ampere. Like 36v = 350w...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I have installed one with OSF (6.3) on a cargo trike. Please stop using that firmware version or your motor controller may burn!! There are user reports that last version is much more stable and probably solved this fatal . Casainho Please can you confirm version 6.3 is not safe? I thought it was a...

Can you please test for short circuit on the motor power leads.

I have tested my motor and get no continuity between the positive + negative terminals with the battery removed.

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive and 850C and SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

So, I think you need to focus on the values around the knee of the graph, maybe trying to measure 5 values near around, because that zone will have a big impact on the values calculated. Also I think is important for you try to imagine a soft round curve passing on/near all the points and so you ca...

Re: Bafang 850C color LCD -- Flexible OpenSource firmware

I'm also getting "Waiting for TSZD2" along with the battery voltage. I've tried re-flashing multiple versions of motor and controller. I checked the voltages on the cables from the motor: Black (Ground) Brown 41.7v green 41.7v white 180mv orange 16mv Purple 4.6v This seems at odds with what I'd exp...

Re: Bafang 850C color LCD -- Flexible OpenSource firmware

I bought a 850C on Aliexpress and I tried to flash the firmware, but the screen does not turn on. Will it be a faulty screen? Connecting the brown and black wires to positive and negative at 52 V, should the screen turn on? If you connect brown to +voltage and black to ground the display should tur...

Re: Bafang 850C color LCD -- Flexible OpenSource firmware

Thanks for the suggestions. Tried different firmware versions, unfortunately no success. As I can see at the end of this video, you should at least get into the normal menu when the display is on, but not yet connected to the TSDZ2, or am I wrong? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0efCpe-Yj50 Because...

Re: Bafang 850C color LCD -- Flexible OpenSource firmware

Hello I am new in this forum and need some help to get the 850c display running. The display is connected with the TSDZ2, but it is the following problem: https://i.ibb.co/RDGFmnv/IMG-20191219-111008.jpg When I start the display it doesn't matter what I do, it only says waiting TSDZ2 and nothing ha...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I have just bought a 48v 250w TSDS2, that has the splitter on the speed sensor for the lights. Also wiring for the lights is included.
