Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

@Wapous. Great writing and pictures. Where could I order Teflon washers for torque sensor? If you order a new torque sensor, no washers are included. Some stores sells torque sensor with springs and others sells only torque sensor without springs. You will need to order the material in bulk and tri...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Thoughts on my torque sensor. The Stator part must move towards the Rotor part thanks to the three springs and thus exert an ideal friction force on the Rotor. The three springs located under the Stator ensure close contact with the Rotor and guarantee good durability of the torque sensor. But if th...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

If the main gear's sprag clutch no longer drives the chainring and no "crunch crunch" is heard then it is sufficient to clean its mechanism. This mechanism must be clean and without lubricant. After removing the protector, each of the components of the sprag mechanism can be dismantled, which inclu...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

If you run your motor at a higher voltage the it will run up to 120rpm. I have done a video on this. With Casainhos latest firmware the motor will continue to increase power at higher cadence. Agree that the stock firmware is only meant for commuting and not for off-road or racing but that suits mo...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

While I was waiting for the arrival of my new torque sensor I imagined a simpler way to install this piece. It suffices to hold the Stator part against the three small springs while installing the torque sensor. This simplifies the task and the three small springs do not have to be retained by greas...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Example of the pressure exerted by the helical gear. Wear of the retaining ring after 8000 km. After better analysis, the wear on the retaining ring is not due to the helical gear but to the lateral movement of the main shaft which causes the friction of the retaining ring on the roller beari...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I am awaiting delivery of my new torque sensor because the original has just died. And in my opinion, the culprit is not the bearing system but a shim that was originally too thin or has worn out prematurely. In the photo we see a shim which is very thin, too thin. NOTE 1: The distance between thes...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Regarding the HF1216 clutch bearing of the blue gear, I am doing tests with Pennzoil 5w-30 Platinum synthetic oil. The purpose of these tests, carried out on a non-installed bearing, is to verify whether the plastic used will resist this oil. After a week no deterioration noticed. I will update in t...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

safeaschuck that is very accurate indeed. The only part I disagree is that the Chinese aren't capable to do better. I wouldn't be surprised if most parts from Bosch, Shimano, etc, are being made there too. In my humble opinion it only is cost related. Over there, they make what you pay for. Making ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

So far running the blue gear on a 750W 48V motor on an enduro bike (on off the power all the time) for some 1000km it's been problem free, I do however have brake sensors installed and a reasonable current ramp up of only 6A. +1 for the blue gear from me. This is an important feedback to have, I ho...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hmmm... The more I read the more concerned I become. Now that I have the motor delivered I see what a tiny little motor that really is. All my fault of course, I should have gone through the several thousand posts and read BEFORE I buy/recommend. Let's keep the fingers crossed and hope that it will...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hi, I finally got all the parts to convert my bike, I'm very excited! One little issue though: on both bicycles I'm planning to convert, the cables for the rear derailleur and the hydraulic disk brakes are routed under the bottom bracket with a plastic cable guide. Now the hydraulic brake line I ca...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I read this forum for some time and I find the topics very interesting. In the spring of 2019, I bought two systems 48 volts TSDZ2 from Eunorau. A kit for my girlfriend and me. We traveled 5000 km or 10000 km for both. We climbed from 300 to 400 meters. All this without any problem. There is no thro...
