Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Does anyone have a list if the dished gear rings that are available?

Also waiting to hear if we are getting close to flashing the boot loader on the SW102 without cutting it open.

I just bought one so I will not be getting the new version any time soon. Will be nice to wait and see how it does. If it is a lot better and...

Has anyone noticed a price increase on TSDZ2 kits? Seems like they've gone up $50-$60 USD since December 2019?
There is apparently a “new and improved” 2020 version. Maybe that’s why it’s more expensive?
Where did you see something about a new 2020 version?

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Installing a new kit, is there any reason to open the motor and grease or clean any thing before installing it or is it good to go as is?

Re: Battery Cable connectors?? Waterproof?

John61ct is right. Unless your getting salt water submersion, a waterproof plug will just hold in moisture more than anything. I run deans connectors on my e bike and rc cars and larger rc planes. My "beater" rc truck i skip water with all the time, sometimes i don't make it lol. It floats just bar...

Re: Battery Cable connectors?? Waterproof?

DTP series Deutsch DTM / DT for smaller stuff. There are "weather resistant" booties for Andersons if it makes you feel better, check out Aussie eBay and PowerWerx.com, more by googling. But why so fixated on "waterproof"? Submerged in seawater maybe. Millions of rigs running high amps through rain...

If you pack XT90's with dielectric grease, and cover the connection with some kind of shroud, I would feel safe running through the rain.

Also add drip-loops to every external run of wire.
That would work but I'm looking for something I can connect and disconnect easy and cleanly.

Battery Cable connectors?? Waterproof?

I'm in the process of adding a TSDZ2 motor to my Ice Adventure recumbent trike. I will be adding a longer battery power cable with a connector near the motor. What connectors are people using for the battery cable and are they waterproof? I see a lot of XT60 and XT90 connectors but are they waterpro...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Where can I find a very very short adaptor cable or connector to go from the TSDZ2 motor 8 pin connector to the 850C connector? The ECO cycle kit came with everything of coarse but I would like to mount the display right next to the motor (recumbent trike). A 6 inch cable or less would be great. I ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Next is a smart charger. Just looking for a good one to do 80,90 and 100% charges. I do not need the expensive programmable one. Did you see their 5A switchable 90-100% charger? It works well, but is a little larger than I anticipated and has a noticeable fan which may bother some people but I don'...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I did lots of research and purchased a 52V 17AH jumbo shark from EM3ev and couldn't be happier with their product or service. Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I just ordered my TSDZ2 motor setup from ECO-Cycles. I know this question is like asking how to walk but what battery is the best out there? I want one with a BMS that has Bluetooth to monitor the batteries from my phone and I want a well built battery that is going to last. I prefer a shark style o...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Can someone tell me what items will not be displayed if I went with the small SW102 display and not the 850C display? Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

So with these changes coming and the new SW102 display is there any wireless buttons to control the TSDZ2 controller?
I want to have my display mounted out front and just have some push buttons near my hand. I know I can do this wired but would like a wireless solution.

Thanks

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Hello, first post here. I'm currently researching the TSDZ2 motor to install on an Ice Adventure HD trike. I have a spare boom that I'm going to use for the motor. I want to make it easy to swap from the powered boom to the non powered boom. So to do this I'm going to mount the display on the boom. ...
