Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

Torque sensor calibration There are two modes of use for the torque sensor, standard and advanced. In advanced mode ...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

Ok, I understand almost everything 🙂 But I am bothered by power assist above 25 km / h and I think the problem may be incorrect switching from street to off-road mode .... In the configurator at the beginning I have the first maximum speed of 45 km / h and "Start street mode" selected, an...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

For me reading my options byte show option byte as 0x20 and only AFR5 is different than stock settings. Weird since option_no_prot should set it to 0x00 and stock was 0x28. EDIT: Just tried programming my stock option file (my own backup that has option byte as 0x28) which went fine with no complai...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

Of course, the reason to write the option byte file at least once is to disable the read protection bit. I had seen that in the stock file the protection was off, but not knowing if it had always been so and if it always will be, I preferred to rewrite it as provided by marcoq. The strange thing is ...

Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

Are you sure about that? That was my first concern so I hade a look at the code and it's populated like this: ui16_display_data_factor = OEM_WHEEL_FACTOR * ui8_oem_wheel_diameter; The largest wheel diameter I can configure is 35 inch and when I do ui8_oem_wheel_diameter returns 35. The highest OEM_...

Well kallt_kaffe I see you are having fun, I'm on a summer break ... Warning, multiplying ui16_display_data_factor x 10, it overflows. The operations should be 32 bit, but the higher resolution is lost in the calculation performed by the display to show the speed, it has a much lower resolution and ...

Hi There are still some aspects that have not been understood. Maybe it's the translation or I haven't explained them well. I try again. Re: Tsdz2 firmware open source adapted to vlcd5, vlcd6 and xh18

The max battery capacity is only used to calculate the remaining%. Only one value can be saved in eeprom on shutdown. You should only change batteries when fully charged, which you can already do. I am really confused here. My unmodified xh18 calculates the remaining %, without knowing the capacity...

when I carry out a throttle, the motor runs faster.
The cause of the problem may be the value of "ADC throttle value min".
You read 40, but there may be a display error.
Try to change it, I can't tell you whether to increase or decrease, you have to do some tests.

When you turn on the engine immediately starts to work.
If you have VLCD5, is the throttle connector inserted in the right direction?
What happens when you operate the throttle?
