Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

If the main gear's sprag clutch no longer drives the chainring and no "crunch crunch" is heard then it is sufficient to clean its mechanism. This mechanism must be clean and without lubricant. After removing the protector, each of the components of the sprag mechanism can be dismantled, which inclu...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I updated the firmware to v1.1.0. I noticed on the top of the menu is “trip memories”. When I click on that, the 860c display freezes up with an error code and the buttons became non responsive. I had to reboot it by turning it off using the battery power switch. Other than that, I need to take it ...

Re: New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

When i really tighten the tzdz2 in the bottom bracket it starts to rattle when the motor is off or soft pedaling, giving a lot of recistance, is that only me or is this a normal behaviour? I read some posts from people that tightened the last bit with soft strokes with a hammer. Are you sure that t...

Hi! First 3 rides with this amazing firmware. I am super happy. And I want to give thanks to Casainho and the other for your job. THANKSSSS. I come from a BBSHD and I don´t miss anything from that motor even the power is very razonable. Just one thing I can´t setup correctly. The speed and the trip...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

Hello Eco-bikes have a great step-by-step on programming the 850C: https://www.eco-ebike.com/blogs/eco-cycles-instructionals/850c-tsdz2-open-source-firmware-bootloader-update-tutorial My question is... can I use the same tutorial to program the 860C? Are there any differences I need to be aware of?...

Re: Fully wireless ANT+ BLE TSDZ2 mid drive motor (like Specialized Turbo Levo) -- Flexible OpenSource firmware

ANT+ LEV is working - my GPS cycling computer now detects and connects to the TSDZ2 wireless board!! Very first testing firmware that works: the wireless board nRF52840 is implementing the ANT+ LEV Ebike profile and the Garmin Edge cycling computer is detecting and connection to the EBike wireless ...

Where in the settings with version 1.0.0 do you change motor current control to or from the torque control or power control? Find it on the configurations wiki page. I found it on the wiki page see below, but when I go into the motor configuration screen I don't have the option to choose. Motor con...

I finally got the parts delivered for flashing the display and motor controller after a 2 month wait! Is it so that the OSF automatically can run with different voltage batt...

Hello First time poster, trying to write the firmware to the 860C, with no luck. From what I gather, this is the place to ask for help(?) Power and ground comes from the bike (52V battery), serial from a USB2UART adapter, all four wires are connected to Higo Mini cable which is connected to display...

Re: Fully wireless ANT+ BLE TSDZ2 mid drive motor (like Specialized Turbo Levo) -- Flexible OpenSource firmware

I bought the last version, the Edge 530 and it says 20 yours of battery - it is good to see that characteristic increasing over time / models. This model also supports a connection of a battery pack. Unfortunately there is no information how that battery pack connection works, so a connection base ...

Thanks for the link to the new thread. I will be following this closely and will build one of these once you have a working model and an app for Garmin or iphone or both. Hi all, Managed to clean it all out again and am now back to the blue plastic cog. It seemed to last me much longer, it's lighter, cheaper, quieter and won't scatter metal shards throughout your motor. Lesson learned here! Hope this helps others. Cheers What grease did you use for the new blue gear...

Also : • auto power-off doesn’t work (whatever the duration set). • setting a number of assistance levels <=9 is difficult because of a bug in the way long press down button is handled. IMHO From an user experience perspective I don’t really see the added value to have more than 5 or 6 levels. At t...

I need to distinguish Trip and "short Trip": 1. Trip: will be recorded time, distance and Wh and these can be quick reset from main screen. 2. "short Trip" is the same as Trip but that variables are only and always reset at system startup. What can be a good name for the 2.? short trip? quick trip?...

The mistake: - "If i go first in Menu "Various" and next in Menu "Display" then i get a freeze with black screen with text: 0x2 0x8010c64." - is fixed! Thank you!

Would you consider adding a configuration option to hide the clock altogether seeing how unreliable it can be and how much it can drift if you don’t use the bike every day? I’d personally much rather not see the clock at all than seeing it display the wrong time every time. Which Version you have i...
