Re: 5-16S Smart Tiny BMS preorder - 30/150/750A rated

Hey all, So for clarification, I see mention of talking over the Cycleanalyst protocol. Does that mean you can connect one of the comms lines to a Cycleanalyst to get SOC, speedo/range/etc data/calculations? In an Ebike setup already using a Cycleanalyst/Phaserunner/GMAC/ etc what’s the usual config...

Re: GMAC Cooling (heatsink set?)

My understanding was with the addition of a ferrofluid you could get reasonly decent thermal transfer, GRIN has numbers showing upwords of an 80% improvment in heat sheading with their TIM and radiator assembly (just not sure if it will fit their motors).

GMAC Cooling (heatsink set?)

Hey all, Curious if anyone knows if the hub heat sink set sold by Grin fits on a GMAC? https://www.ebikes.ca/shop/electric-bicycle-parts/motor-hardware/cooling-mods/hubsink-set.html I was originally planning on running twin motors for a new heavy cargo bike build I'm working on, but debating just ru...

Check out tinyBMS from energus. They are European brand and with that you get proper manual and support.
BOOM!

That looks like a winner to me! Thanks bud!

Re: Proportional braking/regen?

Ya, you got it... Ok...

Any idea how "throttle" based regen is applied if you are using torque sensors?

Proportional braking/regen?

Hi there, sorry a bit new to this…. I’m working on an electric long john cargo bike build. I would like hydraulic brakes and have been looking at the Magura MT5E as a likely candidate. That being said looking at its datasheet it looks to not have proportional signaling… Planning on using Grins Phase...

safety and fully enclosed/embedded packs?

Hey all, Working on a project that will have 12x 25Ah LiFePO4 prismatic cells https://www.electriccarpartscompany.com/Fortune-25Ah-Aluminum-Encased-Battery (12S) built underneath the frame of a cargo bike's cargo bed The concept I’m rolling with at the moment is to use 2”x1” Tslot https://www.mcmast...
