Re: KTM 200 exc goes electric

My charger has been working fine, so I went on and changed controller to the votol em 150sp I bought together with the motor. The specifications are not very impressing with 380pA and 120bA, but luckily it is unlocked  I thought it wouldn't deliver good pA, but according to another members me...

Re: how to program a sevcon gen4

@samv76 ... The true short answer is yes, the firmware can be reflashes to give you access to everything. The honest truth however is that if you have things to learn about the Sevcon and also weren't at a point to truly know if you can use a two channel scope, then my advice is that you honestly d...

Re: how to program a sevcon gen4

Yes a 2 channel works fine, that's all I had. Just takes some thought and good note taking to keep organized. The 4 channels let you see everything on one screen, but every measurement in that app note can be done just two channels at a time. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk cheers! ill be going o...

Re: how to program a sevcon gen4

You'll have a much easier time with an oscilloscope, but it sounds like your encoder is something like 180 degrees out of alignment. Read this: https://www.e-kart.fr/images/stories/technique/SEVCON/sevcon-app-note-pmac.pdf If the link doesn't work, google for "sevcon app note". It explains what you...

Re: govecs go 3.4 high current warning light

Yes, i have managed to find a thread here explaining how to setup the encoder. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=88647 I have followed the steps, and the result is exactly the same as it was before. So im guessing it has been set right. it just seems to me the offset angle is a stran...

some help on understanding torque settings needed

Hi all, I have some trouble making sense of the settings in my Sevcon gen 4 contoller. The motor it is driving is a 3.9Kw Parker motor, that according to the sticker on it, delivers 15Nm of torque. In the motor controller however, the max torque is set to 80Nm. i am sure there is some conversion cal...

Re: govecs go 3.4 high current warning light

Yes the Govecs 3.4 uses a sevcon gen4 size 4 controller. I managed to get my hands on the original DCF file, so at least now i know that those settings are correct. Next i will be focussing on the encoder allignment, but i need a scope for that. I'll have to mail the manufacturar of the motor (parke...

Re: govecs go 3.4 high current warning light

Thx for the reply, The problem does not occur when the wheel is of the ground. only when i am on it. I bought the scooter used, and i have no knowledge of what has been modified in the controller settings. I tried finding a data/spec sheet of the motor but i cant find it. The same goes for the origi...

govecs go 3.4 high current warning light

Hi All, I recently set my first steps into the EV-scooter world by purchasing a govecs go S2.4 moped. So far i am very pleased with it. then I came across a bargain govecs S3.4 and i couldnt resist purchasing it. But as often with bargains, there is a catch. And the catch is that during accelleratio...
