Re: how about a 3d printer section?

Fusion 360 is a good balance between capability and usability. Serious engineering outfits use solidworks, but many small companies do use it and I believe it's free for hobbyists. https://www.autodesk.co.uk/products/fusion-360/pricing It may just be in the UK, but I don't see the "free for ho...

Re: how about a 3d printer section?

Petg is just difficult to stick, but once you have a system worked out it won't be an issue. Here is what I do for rPetg on a glass bed. 1. Raise bed temp for first layer. I do +10c (75c). 2. Reduce Z offset (more like .07mm instead of .1mm). 3. Slow down first layer. 4. All else fails, a bit of glu...

I think the best thing to do is post a picture of the label on the actual contactor. This post is fairly confusing as written.

Re: how about a 3d printer section?

I want a RenAm500Q. Or an ExONe. Forget about that "Creality" style printer. I want an X1 25Pro. A sintering Lumex Advance25. Thats what I'm talking about. A TRAK A2v4. An Evo 22T Airwolf. Ya know.. real 3d printers. Not that.. Amazon fodder. I can dream, right? I'll probally end up with ...

When were you in Xinjiang, exactly? I was there in 2018 and it was absolutely human rights abuse on an unprecedented scale. Not genocide, but whatever you call it, it was horrible. I was there in 2007, 2015, 2018 and 2019...Urumqi, Karamay, Hami... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oKvulTU8oU I don'...

Save yourself the $50 and de-program yourself from the Western propaganda....and yes, I have been to Tibet, Xinjiang and it is NOT what you think. https://thegrayzone.com/2021/02/18/us-media-reports-chinese-genocide-relied-on-fraudulent-far-right-researcher/ https://anti-empire.com/china-is-really-...

Re: Ebike kit I can carry in airport and charge my Macbook

I think I found the solution. Get the Qiroll then use this: https://a.aliexpress.com/_uurahY I can just remove the 21700 cells separately when I get into the plane. Carry 12 of them lol The website I read said specifically that loose lithium batteries are not allowed, they must either be approved o...

Re: Ebike kit I can carry in airport and charge my Macbook

Yes, this whole idea is a bit ridiculous. The batteries you could get away with on a plane really wouldn't give you anything more than the tiniest bit of assist. But anyway, I've got one more for the OP: https://www.rubbee.co.uk/ An all-in-one friction drive with a 94wh battery "installed in de...

Re: Ebike kit I can carry in airport and charge my Macbook

Oh, just Europe?? 4 thoughts: 1. Most European cities have some sort of public ebike system already. Just use those. 2. The European rail system is normally set up for bicycles already, just buy an ebike and the start and take the train to your next destination. Trains do not have the same restricti...

Re: Ebike kit I can carry in airport and charge my Macbook

In direct response to your question, Grin is the only company which designs for air travel, although a company like Unit Pack Power in China are generally happy to build custom batteries at a reasonable price, and they can add a case with usb charger. Where do you plan on traveling? Are you touring ...

Re: My Chinese E-Scooter

Great little hot-rod you've built for yourself. Do you have details on the cable-operated throttle? After much searching I found an off-the-shelf adapter, but the one supplier I found for something like this has disappeared (with my $40 I may add). Was yours custom or off-the-shelf? If purchased, do...

Bestech power software?

I've got a HS-017 150/300a BMS. I bought the USB programming adapter, but the dropbox link included in the PDF they sent me has gone dead. I've got a bluetooth dongle also, but I can't find any information as to which app I can use. I've emailed them several times with no response. Does anyone have ...

Haha... I've welded a sprocket onto a shaft once, on an '86 DR600. Of course I was stuck in the middle of the Gobi desert at the time. For anybody who doesn't plan on welding the shaft I did get a set of 520 sprockets made and I have some left over. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=...

12T 520 conversion sprocket for QS138 v3 motor

This allows you to run the stock 520 chain and rear sprocket on your electric motorcycle conversion, instead of having to convert the drivetrain to a 420/428 chain. I've got a few of these left from a batch I had made. I searched the internet forever before I had these produced, they just don't exis...

I mean it takes some work to make it street legal but not impossible, which state are we talking about? I talked to the state inspector for SW Kansas. He made it pretty clear that he was not passing stuff from China. So getting something, then making it legal, is not going to happen. I was wonderin...

I recently upgraded to an ender 5+ with 350x350x400 build volume. Hoping to get it reliable enough to print large battery enclosures. I almost bought the ender 5 and maybe I should have, but for $130 I can buy a extension kit for my ender3 that gives me a 400x400x250 build volume. I considered this...
