Re: New Enduro/clone build
Finally boys! My new QS205 V3TI 6T is finished and put back together. So the hub motor is completely varnished, upgraded to 6AWG phase wire through the axle, upgraded the bearings and seals. Just did a test ride it pulls hard, definitely pulls harder than the other motor/gold rim that’s a 5.5T. So n...

Good luck building and enjoy the process :thumb: Thanks! Very very nice, I read that suzuki factory forks rock too. Can you please weigh the bare frame with the swing arm as is now. So I got the weight of the frame and swingarm. Figured I would reply to you here on the build thread for this ...

Re: Suzuki RMZ 250 EV Restomod
Received the front fork tubes :thumb: I have replacement bushings and seals from allballsracing. The forks seem to be in good condition no pitting or rusting on the chrome. Will also refinish the outside but keeping the gold color. Probably just needs a good cleaning with some scotch bright but firs...

Suzuki RMZ 250 EV Restomod
Picked up this 2007 Suzuki Rmz 250 frame and swingarm. Also came with the triple clamp and rear shock. First priority is to get this into a rolling chassis. Will restore this frame before mounting the motor and figuring out which battery to build or buy. I’ve ordered the front fork tubes, rear suspe...

https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=110469 This is my build thread. On the power side it was slower than a 250cc. Felt like a 125 2 stroke. OK thank you, very useful information! I’ll stick with the QS180. Will follow your new build thread. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/v...

Re: QS138 90H VS QS180 90H
In my rmz 250 I used the 138 90h with a bac8000 maxed out at 32kw. Oh and how did the power fell at 32 kW compared to the factory set up with the combustion motor? I’m sure off the line in felt ridiculous but also wondering how the mid range acceleration is at 32KW? Not sure if you used a gear redu...

Very very nice, I read that suzuki factory forks rock too. Can you please weigh the bare frame with the swing arm as is now. Thanks! Yeah really excited for this project. Yes I will weigh the frame and swingarm. The rear suspension feels pretty heavy. Purchased the fork tubes today, “SHOWA”. But ye...

QS138 90H VS QS180 90H
So I know the QS 180 is a newer motor but wondering if anyone on here has used it? For the QS138 what’s the maximum peak power without overheating? I’ve heard you can peak this motor at 20kW but wondering if it could take more power for short periods? Will be converting a Suzuki Rmz250. The QS 180 i...

Re: 0-30 MPH with bicycle tires
My new build V3 4T Interesting, I always wondered the performance of the 4T. Seems like the best option for commuting purposes because you still have decent torque and good top speed. The top speed of my 5.5 and 6T sucks lol. The 6T is around 40mph @ 72v nominal. That’s why I’m looking at building ...

Re: 0-30 MPH with bicycle tires
Nice!! Did you get any wheel spin or wheelies during the launch? No wheel spin but the front wheel lifted. Was hanging over the handlebars with my chest Close to the bars, my head was over the front wheel  It also helps keep the front wheel down that I have a 280 mm rear shock so the back of t...

Re: 0-30 MPH with bicycle tires
So plan on testing this app today with my new super Moto wheel, QS205. I’ve tried this app briefly before but when I launch/Holeshot the app doesn’t start, am I my missing something here? Doesn’t the app start when you accelerate? I’m curious to see what the acceleration time is as my overall tire ...

Re: QS273 5T with Sabvoton 200A - good setup or 3T better?
I am not building it, I want to order a ready build from alibaba. They claim to have a 70ah 72V battery, total price of the bike around 3400 USD. The frame is custom, pretty wide, total weight would be about 100kg / 220 lbs. Controller is 200A - Sabvoton 72200, peak 450 amps, the given top speeds a...

Re: QS273 5T with Sabvoton 200A - good setup or 3T better?
Go with the 5T winding if you’re looking for torque. I would recommend getting the QS205 compared to the QS 273 if you’re only using 150 A. The 273 is real heavy and not necessary for something under 200 A. I have 2 different qs205’s and they’re both pushed up to 200 amps. Oh and you can definitely ...

Got the wheel built and did some testing 8) Rides real smooth compared to my off-road set up. The acceleration increased a good bit :thumb: I’ll post some acceleration times with the app. Looked for over a month to get a black rim but settled for the gold. Looks nice to add another color to the blac...

Re: New Enduro/clone build
Just received my spokes this morning :D Will clean the spoke threads first, then apply some spoke prep. Should have this built today. Will post pictures later once I have the wheel built. So this is for the older QS205 v3 that’s laced in the 19 inch rim, will be getting the gold 16 inch pro wheel. T...

Re: New Enduro/clone build
Still working on waterproofing the new hub motor and also upgraded the phase wires going into the hub motor. Was able to fit 6AWG wire through the bore of the axle by removing the silicone coating and using heat shrink to give it a thinner profile. The goal is less heat with the thicker phase wires ...

Re: CSC 1500w Rear Hub build
As far as your wheel being off centered you could tighten the spokes on the side that has the larger gap and that should move the wheel over. Just check the spoke tension with your fingers to make sure they’re not already too tight compared to the other side. A quick check on whether it's a dishing...
