Re: 3.7v vs 4.2v

I'm trying to resolve error with vendor in China. They requested photographs (even though I already sent some). Not sure on how this is going to turn out. So a few suggestions to run 18s at full charge, And a suggestion to run 24s at less than full charge. I'm still not sure what to do. Theyre 10,00...

3.7v vs 4.2v

I've got a small problem. I've received some Tattu Li-po batteries from China. So returns may be problematic. My goal was to run 22s at 4.2v per cell giving me 92.4v. So three 22.2v 6s packs and one 14.8v 4s pack. The seller of the 4s has sent me another 6s in error. If I were to run all four packs,...

Re: Best Phase Wire Connectors & MXUS 3kw stock wires

Good question, stock the phases are soldered up so way i see it is if the solder has melted your well past the 105c rating of the motor. Im not sure if this is correct but its how every motor ive seen has been terminated to the stator. Can you get 3 × 6mm phase wire and a set of hall cables in ther...

Re: Best Phase Wire Connectors & MXUS 3kw stock wires

I've got temp sensor hooked up and displaying on the cycle analyst. Think I should go solderless connectors on the phase wires? Or solder some 6mm amas XT150's on there?

Best Phase Wire Connectors & MXUS 3kw stock wires

I thought I'd consult the experts on here for some advice. I'm currently running MXUS 3KW Turbo V3 3T on 22s li-po, with Sabvoton 72150 and Grin Cycle Analyst v3. Running on 80a currently @ 92v (approx 7300w) I'm getting some Tattu li-po, 22s and I'm going to increase the amps to approximately 120a ...

Re: 27.5” front 26” rear - Wheelbuilding

I'm running a MXUS 3KW TURBO 3t on my bike and love it, there is quite a difference in top end between the different winding variants of the MXUS. I'm running 24" on SAS halo rim and the acceleration is phenomenal. Wider rim on the back vs the front but both 24 inch. Smaller the better rim imo ...

Re: MXUS 3KW HUB - FRAME OPTIONS

I'm starting to think maybe I should get a MXUS hub with longer axle and mount it on a fat bike. The MXUS usually comes with a wider rim for 2.5-3.0 tyres anyway and I guess bigger tyres is kinda like suspension in a less mechanical sense. Never rode a fatbike though. So far the best frame I've foun...

Re: MXUS 3KW HUB - FRAME OPTIONS

It will be on flat terrain, which can be bumpy, which is why I want full suspension. Larger tyres and reduced pressure doesn't cut it. I haven't opted for a sprung seat post either. I'd like the battery inside the frame, it will be a triangle battery. I don't mind mounting the controller outside of ...

Re: MXUS 3KW HUB - FRAME OPTIONS

Amber, what do you mean the MXUS is only 2kw on larger wheels? If I'm feeding 72v at 60A, that's 4,320w regardless of wheel size? On a smaller wheel it would have quicker acceleration of course and lower top end speed...but it would still draw the same wattage? I've found a hardtail to be a bit of a...

MXUS 3KW HUB - FRAME OPTIONS

I'm looking at building a second ebike to replace my hardtail, I'm running a 48v 17.5ah battery, a 35a controller and 1500w hub. My next build I'm going to run a 72v 20ah capable of 60a continuous with a 60a controller and MXUS 3kw rear hub. It must be a full suspension and not the enduro ebike type...
