LMX 64H preorder deal

Hi all, We have been working on the L1E-B version of the LMX 64. That means legal 45km/h, with plate and registration! The kickstand, and rear licence plate holder system is removable for offroad riding. Homologation testing has already begun and the frames are in serial production (same as the curr...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Hello, please send me a message about it on the contact email. It could be the crank arm rubbing against the chainring spider and causing improper torque measurement. We asked the torque sensor supplier about this issue and their answer was "we did not check it". Since we noticed this issue we machi...

LMX 161 Frame kits are back! 250€ off for the first 10

Now that the LMX 161H is in full production, we bring back the possibility to buy a frame kit to build your own bike. We have different options, with or without motor, electronics. We will provide an assembly guide for those kits. They can not be made street legal in EU, as we can not provide COC fo...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

About the motor, can you check if it is on FOC mode under motor parameters? For the delay, best is to have a pedalling speed gear that has higher spinning rate. then the delay is shorter. There is also the possibility to reduce the delay in the settings, but then the pedalling at low rpm/power is no...

We are working on a project with belt drive for a customer, we will see how it handles the torque.
For the LMX 64? A street version?

No a 4 wheeler with two motors, custom stuff

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Any advise on how to solve that? Should I just add a few spacers to the axle on that side? Cheers The bike is made for 2.6" rubber max, some 2.8" fits but there is such differences between tires that it is hard to tell for sure. Best way to solve that is to work on the spokes by loosening the pedal...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Got race pics? Did not get them yet. I was told qlbix guys feared motor overheat during 30 minutes race son they talked organisers to do only 25 minutes haha. I was third with my 70kg qs205 middrive surron, sure the lmx64 was faster due the fact this was a very technical racetrack where the light l...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Nice :) tubeless can be a bitch sometimes. Those rims and stock tires makes a very easy setup compared to others!

BTW the 64 has been wining some races in Belgium, over other S pedelecs and qulbix MD bikes

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

We tested bigger (80mm) motors before. Yes they can handle more amps/torque at low rpm, but at the expense of weight and loss of efficiency. We are further improving the noise reduction rings as we go. we now have a simple solution to have rings on both sides. An enclosed primary reduction could hel...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Hi, It is a casting? I see the original sproket has been covered in release agent. The pressure on the keyway groove is way to high to be workable IMO. http://www.tribology-abc.com/calculators/key.htm Here you can run some numbers, the keyway is 4x4mm, peak torque close to 45 N.M at the shaft. It gi...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Those wires are for the brake cut-out. It is optional to wire it. if you want you can wire it to a cut-out switch for safety or downhills.

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Hello, what you describe does not seem normal. Looks like some issue with the torque sensor. We had two cases where over thightening the cranks arms caused the crank arm to contact the sensor body, thus limiting movement and resolution between both parts. Changing the right crank arm may be neccesar...

For us customers you do not pay the VAT 20%, However shipping is expensive, minimum 900€ by air (takes about one week) but price depends on the exact adress. For ES members I do a special price here : https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=101164 So ES price with shipping, without VA...

Re: E-S LMX 64 Bike Owners

Could owners (or LMx) not go 18T front cog, and 50% larger rear cog? Visually, it would mean a lot larger rear, I realise. The Kart sproket we use max out at 100t or so, so going higher would mean custom sprokets, more chain weight, and we found out going from 12 to 14t did not help much on that. A...

Yes we are continuously testing new things to improve it.
Now it is still quite loud at high RPM, but much better than before at low RPM.
