Did I bend this? I carry 50 lbs of cargo, ride thousands of miles, and go 30 MPH all the time. I've already snapped two racks including a $50 bontrager. Well it's all set up. Man it looks killer and feels great. The rubber compound feels amazing. For the build of the wheel with such low thread counts it makes a huge world of difference in comfort. Just wow.

Metal tire levers can deface or even break your rims. Don't let them be a substitute for good technique. Move the bead wire over to the center before you escalate your weaponry. Yeah it just for getting the bead off the wheel, and the final part of the wheel where the bead is just nearly impossible...

Here is my flat repair kit/plan

Carry the patch kit and a spare inner tube. If the patch kit dries up then there always the tube.

Unfortunately it's impossible to get the tire off without levers with this bead. So I need those too

BTW, is that hole almost directly across from the valve stem? If so, that's your answer-- that's where we typically struggle forcing the last stubborn bit of tire bead over the rim lip with tools!

That's not a bad tire, it looks comparable to schwalbe's more heavy duty stuff. ( i just wish it had a few MM more of rubber myself ) Make sure you get a plastic tire iron, don't want to mess up that rim ( or innertube ) by rubbing metal on it. :thumb: Nah I just frock it. Installation was easy Enough. You can get a free paint can opener at a paint store to work as a third hand to hold the bead in place.( See pictures below) I recommend working the beads one at a time as pictured below.
